Ask precise questions. What will they do to fix SS? What will they do to deal w/Iran/Iraq? How will they deal with the UN? How will they balance the budget? What will they do with health issues? What about the moral beliefs of this country - how will they deal with the lefts stealing our right to believe in God and share equally our right to teach all religions not just role play in our public schools religions other than Christanity? Give Christanity equal exposure and don’t punish children for excercising their constitutional right of freedom of expression.
McCain is a great candidate and if he is nomintated I might as well drop out of the race, as well as anybody else.
p.s. luv ya Billy boy
My suggestions to ask pointed, clear questions, and rquest a pointed and clear answer. Short answers are prefered, debates arent times for the candidates to get their message out about how they grew up as a child, or what their favorite foods are. They are a time for us as Americans to hear their perspective on issues and to do that well we need to ‘cut the crap’.
short volleys of questions would be best, 15 second answers.
I would be interested to find out if the candidates would support “faith-based” rehabilitation programs.
Leave faith-based questions out of the debates. We have heard enough - now get on with the real issues - Limit topics to National Security which should be foremost, SS, immigration. Tired of hearing the same mindless rhetoric from all the candidates. Let’s hear the words “vision”, “Hope”, “patriotism”. More mention should be made of the fact that nowhere in the Constitution is there mention of “dual presidency”. Let’s get to the basics of our Founding Fathers and the consitution of this country.
Boy can’t wait..I sure this will be Fair and Balanced….NOT
I believe Ron Paul is the only candidate that will uphold the U.S. Constitution otherwise we will continue to have more of the same and it will only get worse. The need to uphold the U.S. Constitution is imperitive if our country is going to survive the next decade. Our freedoms are systematically being taken away from us. The federalist documents such as the “Bill of Rights” and the “Constitution” are legal documents that speak on behalf of American citizens. Socialism is on the increase “Socialistic Democracy” where the government provides services and the public has limited power to make decisions for the their families and communities.
Where is true enterprise in this? There is a Capitalistic Monopoly, big corporations have control and the government officials have their hand deep into those businesses. It has become a money making machine and “We the People” have become the merchandise. It is a true saying “the love of money is the root of all evil. America, if we don’t start looking up, this country is going down. Have you read the Contitution and Bill of Rights? I have!
I have no doubt, that this debate will be baised towards specific candidates..Ron Paul is hands down the best candidate running, so I am sure he will get very little speaking time during this debate. The YouTube CNN debate gave him 3 questions. I have no doubt FoxNews will do no better. It would be nice to let all of the candidates share equal time presenting themselves to the American People. But I doubt the media is this country will allow that, it would be too fair and balanced….
I also believe in short, to the point questions demanding short answers. I didn’t say straight or honest answers because all the candidates are political gamesters. All we can do is hope to elect the one with a latent drop of patriotism and honesty in their soul. We should focus on illegal immigration. If we lose our country the rest doesn’t matter and our government is giving away and selling America bit by bit. Frankly I think more power should be given to the states to deflate to fatted beasts ruling the country.
QUESTIONS TO ALL..1. WHAT DO YOU ‘PLEDGE & ‘PROMISE” RIGHT NOW, TO DO IN THE FIRST 3 MONTHS IN OFFICE TO END ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION….2. WHAT ‘PROMISE WILL YOU MAKE RIGHT NOW, IF YOUR ELECTED, IN THE FIRST 3 MONTHS IN OFFICE TO LOWER THE COST OF PERSCRIPTON DRUGS AND INDIVIDUAL HEALTH INSURANCE PREMEIUMS….’WE’ are all tired of hearing what ive done and what i stand for blah blah blah…i want answers,, FRED THOMPSON SO FAR HAS BEEN OPEN AND TO THE POINT AND LISTED ON HIS SITE WHAT HE IS ‘GOING TO DO’..I WANT TO HEAR FROM THE REST IF THEY WILL LISTEN AND ANSWER,HMMMM THEY SEEM TO HAVE A PROPLEM WITH THAT.! THESE MEN ARE RUNNING FOR ‘PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES’, AND A WORLD POWER..NOT CITY MAYOR..LETS ALL GET SERIOUS
There are only two sides in this election–you either support murdering innocent unborn babies, or you don’t. In God’s book, that’s not even a point of debate: “Thou shalt not kill.” Vote pro life!
I hope this Fox News Debate will give the Presidential Nominees plenty of time to answer fully the issues that I am concerned with.
The other Debates that you, Fox News, have hosted is just too short!
I used to only watch Fox News. You have changed so that I am finding the other Cable News Hosts do allow much more time for the Candidates.
I would love to become a well informed voter.
I believe there has not been enough time for the Republican Presidential Candidates. We are not seeing any one emerge forward as a frontrunner clearly because of the issue I have mentioned.
If you are going to attempt to remain Fair and Balanced, my suggestion is to spend the extra finances to host the best debates that you possibly can. Otherwise you are becoming non-essential for me to get the most accurate reporting as you have been.
It is your job and your responsibility for me as a voter to do that or I will leave Fox News.
I have to be honest I have been watching other anchors on other cable news Channels to try to get more reporting. You have become an entertainment news channel.
I am serious about news and politics. You have been slowly losing me.
I have become very disappointed.
I just thought I would finally tell you the truth.
I know that there are some people that are Ron Paul fools, but I don’t think he will do anything to protect the American people,he’s just another Dummocrat in disguise.
I especially want to know, how will they keep the American job market booming and keep good paying jobs here in America?
And those Dummocrats are plain STUPID for wanting the minimum wage increased, they have succeeded in increasing poverty by doing that and caused people doing other jobs to have to work harder, because they won’t hire as many people for minimum wage jobs and people in other jobs will start being asked to do them.Which,I’m not surprised the Dummocrats are STUPID as are their supporters.
I am looking forward to the Fox News debate. Its too bad, the other stations are to biased on the left side to have equal debate for the Republican’s. I’m tired of the softball questions to
the Democrats and Hillary in particular who can’t answer a question and doesn’t feel she should be asked. I agree it’s not the time to go into their past accomplishments, although, a past record can tell you alot about a candidate. I have already ruled out Huckabee. Because he is a Chrisitan isn’t enough. His past record is too liberal for me and I have been very concerned about some of the answers he has given. I also think the candidates should not under estimate the intelligence of the voting public, at least on the right!
Thanks
Sandy, Brighton, Mi
I understand Dr. Ron Paul has not been invited by Fox News to participate in this event. I find it strangely unfair and unbalanced. How can we decide if you won’t ask the good Dr. Paul to your debate? Please reconsider your position on this matter, and invite Dr. Paul to your debate. If you truly prize freedom and information for voters, you can do less.
“YOU Decide 2008″ is a JOKE. We’re supposed to pick our candidate right? How the hell can we do that when you don’t give every candidate on stage a fair amount of questions? SEEMS LIKE YOU’RE PICKING THE CANDIDATES FOR US…and it’s INCREDIBLY obvious. It only makes you people from Faux News look more unfair and desperate.
Ron Paul is the only person that has not been purchased. No wonder fox news does not want his voice to be heard. John M is a CFR member, Fred T is a CFR member, Mike H is getting foreign policy guidence from the president of the CFR, Rudy G supports the CFR belief system and has spoken for them, and Mitt is also a CFR member. The Council on Foreign Relations has purchased every candidate except for Ron Paul…
I don’t know if this is the forum where you are choosing to exclude Ron Paul from. I have heard of this exclusion via http://www.usadaily.com/article.cfm?articleID=211230 . I have attempted to call regarding my complaint of this - unable to because the “mailbox” was full. I have emailed the chairman of the New Hampshire primaries. Either way, I am not that much of an internet geek, but I can tell you that this has gone viral. I am not sure what the mainstream media is thinking by excluding the one Republican candidate that has a chance to beat Hillary. Because, if any other candidate gets the nomination, but Ron Paul, she will be the next President of the United States of America.
I understand Dr. Ron Paul has not been invited by Fox News to participate in this event.
Let the people decide who their next President should be - you have a responsibility to lead by example and practise true democracy.
Ron Paul should be invited to the debate. You should give every candidate an equal opportunity. Let the people decide.
I understand Dr. Ron Paul has not been invited by Fox News to participate in this event.
You call the program - You decide 2008?
FOX NEWs is supposed to be - Fair and Balanced?
I think it is absolutely OUTRAGEOUS that you would exclude Dr. Paul from the debate!!! I will never watch Fox News or come to your website ever again if you do this!
Tired of having a candidate on your debates who does not toe your neo-con line? How about showing some back bone and practicing what you preach about democracy. Excluding Dr. Ron Paul, or any canidate for that matter, is a very very low blow.
i agree with richard m . get it right are we like pakistan trying to keep people from being heard. i would like to here what he has to say. it is your obligation to bring that message to us fair and balanced.
Please rethink your plans on not inviting Dr. Ron Paul to your forum to be held January 6, 2008. Dr. Paul is a viable contender in the NH primaries, and by not inviting him, you are shortchanging the voters in NH.
Hello,
I am a clinical psychologist and have been a loyal supporter of FoxNews since you went live. I have been a major fan of all of your news anchors. Some people say that you will not be including Dr. Ron Paul in your upcoming New Hampshire debate in early January. I learned this by reading the official campaign website.
Dr. Ron Paul is winning the majority of straw polls, online polls, and has gained in phone polls. He has raised more money this quarter than any other republican candidate. He is a veteran of the air force. I am writing to humbly request that he be included in the debate. In the event that you do not follow this request, I will no longer be a viewer of your network, and I will be sure to announce your decision to the American Psychological Association Division of Media Relations, which has several million members nationwide. I am looking forward to seeing a fair & balanced debate which includes Dr. Ron Paul.
Thank you.
Am I to understand that you have excluded Ron Paul from this debate? Not much of a surprise, as the owner of Fox News, has spent quite a bit on Hillary’s campaign this year. Of course, he had to, because even Hillary hasn’t been able to raise more than 6million in one day, like Ron Paul did. Imagine that: A record breaking candidate purposely excluded from a debate. Yeah, sounds like the neo-cons at work.
How can we decide, if you have already made the decision?
I say give ALL the candidates a fair shake, and a fleeting chance. Let the people decide.
It is my understanding that you will be excluding Ron Paul from this upcoming event. No problem. For you see I am a spam bot, strike that, I am a Republican, strike that too, I am an American that is demanding the Fair and Balanced reporting that you so proudly claim. Either you do indeed allow the candidate that has driven the most donations this quarter or you drive your consumer base out the window. The ball is in your court.
Alan
spam bot, strike that, real person
Is Dr. Paul going to be participating in the Fox presidential debates?
I heard FOX News is not inviting Ron Paul to the Presidential debates this January. WHY NOT? This is absolutely absurd. Fox News has the very serious responsibility to deliver COMPLETE UNBIASED coverage. If Ron Paul is not invited, it will be apparent to the entire country Fox News does not care about the American people, and furthermore, is adhering to their own personal agenda, which obviously does not include unbiased journalism.
you guys are joking right? you’re not including ron paul??????????????
I find it hard to believe Ron Paul the Republican with the third largest amount of money in the race is not invited to the debate. But then again Fox News has become a joke so it’s not really a surprise.
Dr Paul is ahead of Huckabee, Thompson, and Giuliani in your own poll in New Hampshire. He is the leading fund raiser, and he has won more than half of the straw polls - the only actual votes cast so far. It can’t possibly be true that you plan to exclude him from the debate, can it?
I hope you don’t try to block Dr. Ron Paul from this event. If you do you are going to cause a lot of problems and lost of faith in the media and fox in general. You will be known for your biased agenda even more if this happens. I hope you are careful and do not slience liberty, and a person that is the true voice of the people of this country. Enough is enough, we had it from the biased media, and people by the millions are spreading the message for Ron Paul. You are failing by blocking him out each and every day, giving less truly less popular canidiates all the air time. Rons millions are not spam, the are small donations from many hundreds of thousands of PEOPLE all over the USA. Go Ron! Ronpaul2008.com
Fox News in general is a colossal douchebag. Why we put up with their smug neo-con views is beyond me. It is time that we stand up to these “big media” companies and let them know that we are on to their mind games. Put all the canidates on the stage and we can make our own “Desicion2008″, we are adults with minds of our own. Hannity might be the biggest d-bag of them all.
If the most popular - (see straw polls, online polls, your own text message polls, search stats, web stats, and donations) - candidate, RON PAUL, does not appear on the debate, I bet that a lot of people will call your sponsors.
why are you omitting Ron Paul from the Fox Debate? The other Republican candidates could all be placed in a big sack, shook up, and they would all fall out the same…. ie …. bland …. Ron Paul has good answers and interesting viewpoints which we all could learn something from. Ron Paul appears to be the only candidate with views and ideas that will change this nation’s government like getting rid of federal income taxes which help support a no win war and the IRS which gives special favors to the elite of this country. Why would Fox News not want to hear from him? As your Bill O’reilly says “you guys are just hiding underneath your desks by withholding him”
Why is Fox not inviting the one candidate who is raising more money than any other republican candidate this quarter?
I object to your exclusion of Ron Paul. I have been a loyal viewer of Fox News from the beginning. Your treatment of Ron Paul–the true Conservative–has made me re-think my loyalty to you.
You should re-think your position on the matter.
leaving ron paul out is fair and balanced? what a joke. no others talk of the real issues. after all they are all the same old crap. i am a life long republican but the party has turned to what we were once against. how can we police the world as all you people want to do if we cant even take care of our own country.
Is it true that Ron Paul is to be excluded from the Fox News debate in January? I should think that “fair and balanced” would be to give equal opportunity for all candidates to be heard before the primaries.
Attempts by tv news to marginalize Dr. Paul seem to always backfire. His message of return to constitutional government is resonating with voters as can be seen by his campaign fundraising and exponential growth in supporters. In fact, he is the only candidate of any party that has had steady growth in these areas.
If Ron Paul is excluded from the debate, I won’t be watching Fox News. I do not want the tv media to decide who we are to vote for in the primaries.
I take it that Fox News is now in charge of determining who the presidential contenders are before ANY votes are every taken. You and many others have stated that Ron Paul is not a legitimate candidate. By that, I assume what is meant is you don’t like him, because there are many hundreds of thousands of voters across this country that indeed do support him. I talked to twenty undecided voters today while canvassing and five of them expressed decided interest in him after a very brief discussion.
Try reporting news, not making it. If you are afraid of Dr. Ron Paul, then vote for your own candidate, and allow others to vote for theirs.
I think Fox is making a huge mistake by asking Ron Stupid questuons. It reveals your bias and prejudice against his “back to the basicsconservative politics” where aMericans are actually first class citizens.
The most helpful thing you can do to help Ron Paul is to ignore him. Then everyone will know what you are up to AND THAT JUST CANNOT BE GOOD FOR fOX. Ihave watched Fox for years, now Isee it is just more of the same, their is nothing fair and balanced about your reporting. I think you should stick with Britney Spears stories.. you fair much better.. You are appealling to folks that dont think for themselves.. maybe those are the folks you can best relate too.
My Letter to all of you at Fox News.
To whom it may concern,
I have watched your station for several years and have seen the steady decline of honest coverage. It is a shame that Americans now have to decipher what truth their news holds.Ron Paul has been a winner of several straw polls in New Hampshire and across America. Not to mention the huge ammounts of money supporters from New Hampshire have raised for Congressman Paul. You at Fox News should be ashamed of yourselves for trying to further dilute the media with your bias GARBAGE! Ron Paul is a true leader. His supporters have proved this time and time again even with the likes of robots like youselves trying to impede his progress. You edit the very tiny ammount of his footage you air to negatively sway the public opinion and exclude him from nearly every update on the 2008 primaries. We March,We post signs and Handbills,We vote by the houndred thousands in all of your polls,We raise incredible ammounts of money in support of Dr.Paul,We are becomming larger and stronger than ever in numbers. We are a force to be reconed with.Yet, you still ignore us.Shame on you.
I sent every contact at Fox a copy Doubtfull I will get a reply from any of you cowards!
I have an idea for Fox: Let the people decide who should be in this debate. Wouldn’t that be, you know, fair and balanced?
I am extremely irritated with Fox News for excluding Ron Paul from this event. I stopped watching Fox years ago because it is neither fair or balanced. Ron Paul is the ONLY reason I would tune in. The people want to hear Ron Paul. Reconsider.
You’re disinviting Ron Paul to your forum? Do your high-paid PR people have any idea what message this sends to the world? It tells us just how fascist, corrupt, and criminal FOX really is! Your network is going down in flames because their are a lot more of us who support Ron Paul than there are who support your bought and paid for lying propogandists!
Please do not invite Ron Paul. I would hate to see a Fox News debate where you try to only ask him questions to make him look bad but make him look good. Instead he will be nearby the debates, talking with a real journalist, answering the questions you should ask everyone but wont. He will have a few thousand fans with him.
I understand Dr. Ron Paul has not been invited by you to participate in the forum in New Hampshire on Jan. 6th even though he has great support in that state or the next republican debate even though he has proven to be a true contender in this race, seems that Fox News is proving to be bought and paid for and acting like a puppet preventing true democracy to work this is supposed to be the peoples choice and the news is supposed to provide unbiased information for us to decide, not select which candidates we should hear or choose from. This is true censorship at its worst you should be ashamed of your self! If Fox chooses to continue this line of selecting allowable candidates then perhaps its time we start boycotting, the power is not in the corporation but in the people who support it. We urge you to act appropriately now and contact Dr. Paul to join the forum and the debate this lack of courtesy only shows how much the right wing Republicans truely fear his rising power in this race, you prove to be cowards unable to face your opponents.
No Ron Paul!!! What does this guy have to do? Raise enough money to buy all the media outlets in order to get some fair air time?!!!? Very disappointed with FOX on this one.
Rumor has it that Dr. Ron Paul has not been invited by Fox News to participate in this event. How is it, Fox News, that you can say “YOU Decide 08″ and yet exclude a candidate from this event? It is safe to say that Fox News blatantly lies to the American people with their “We Report, You Decide” motto and fail to uphold their promise of “Fair and Balanced” reporting. Fox News, you should be ashamed!
Why is Sen. Ron Paul being excluded from this debate??????????????
Isn’t Fox News interested in a “Fair and Balanced” debate, where veiwers get to hear from ALL of the candidates??????????????
I think we deserve to know the reason for this exclusion.
How can you claim to be fair and balanced if you are going to exclude one of the most popular candidates? Ron Paul had 58,000 people donate to him in a single day for more than $6M and you say he doesn’t matter? Nothing fair about you Rupert.
You guys are absolutly ridiculous for not allowing Dr. Paul to participate in the debate. You at least owe your viewers a reason why, in detail, you are not being democratic. Why are you are so scared of Dr. Paul, and his uniting of the country? I really would like to understand your reasoning.
CORPORATE CONTROLLED MEDIA PEOPLE……. WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHY IS FOX EXCLUDING THE ONE CANDIDATE THAT RAISED THE MOST $ IN ONE DAY IN THE ENTIRE HISTORY OF POLITICAL FUNDRAISING? WHO IS POLLING MORE THAN THE LOWER TIER CANDIDATES? AND GUESS WHERE THIS FUNDRAISING CAME FROM - FROM REAL PEOPLE - NOT CORPORATIONS OR SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS.
ASK YOURSELF WHY WOULD FOX DO THIS? IS THIS “FAIR AND BALANCED”
I just read in Forbes news that Ron Paul has not been invited to your debate.
Your slogan says “You Decide 2008″ if Ron Paul who has a large following is not invited to the debate then you should reconsider your slogan to “Fox will decide for You Elections 2008″
Practice what you preach be “Fair and Balance” give every candidate a fair chance to elected by the people.
I do hope that Ron Paul will not be excluded.
I can understand why Fox News would want to exclude Ron Paul. Paul’s message, after all, is about restoring our Republic. He’s submitted legislation to abolish the parasitic, un-Constitutional Federal Reserve and talks about our need to return to a sound money system. His message of liberty has the ring of truth that Americans are responding to and is in stark contrast to the fear-mongering coming from the other candidates, none of whom seem to have noticed that Executive Orders and Congressional laws passed last year have effectively destroyed our Constitutional rights nt more aand focus on the phony war on terror. And of course he’s the only Republican candidate who would end the war immediately. No doubt the folks who make the decisions at Fox would consider Paul’s views at odds with their own - judging by their consistently slanted ‘news’ coverage. The last thing these people want is for Americans to wake up to the immense fraud that’s been perpetrated on them. But to actually go through with it, to exclude a candidate who has raised nearly 19 million dollars in the current quarter, which included 4+ million during one 24 hour period and a record 6 million dollars during another, that would be a desperate move indeed. Americans aren’t stupid, we’ve just been lied to for so long the lies have become institutionalized. Folks are beginning to wake up, though, as more and more truth is showing through the cracks. MSM’s suppression of Ron Paul has not gone unnoticed. His exclusion from the debate would certainly add to that perception and people will wonder why - which will lead to more people waking up to Ron Paul’s message, and will further expose Faux News for what it actually is.
Good job on excluding Ron Paul from the upcoming debate. Its so embarrassing how Paul always comes in first or second on those text message polls afterwards. I really respect Fox for not caving to the desire of their viewers to see Paul in the debate just because he’s the most popular candidate in those polls. No other network would have the patriotism and courage to exclude the candidate who’s raised more money than any of his rival Republicans this quarter, won a 33% landslide majority of the votes from straw polls, won over 90% of the who-won-the-debate polls, and instead include competitors of his who consistently poll lower than him in New Hampshire by all the major polling entities. I think it might also help to change your FOX slogan from “You Decide 2008″ to “Trust FOX to Choose Hillary 2008.” Its such a shame we even have to have an election. They should just let FOX coronate Hillary as our Monarch for life so we don’t have to put up with all these silly debates every 4 years with crazy candidates who want freedom and less government. Why can’t people realize that FOX and the government know what’s best for them and quit throwing away their money on Ron Paul campaign donations?
The mainstream media is not electing the next president, you guys need to remember that. That may be the agenda but it just goes to show how screwed up our country has become. You have a responsibility to report the news, not make it. It is completely unjust that you would leave a candidate for President of the United States with his name on the ballot out of a presidential debate. Reminds me why it sickens me to watch fox news, I was giving you guys a chance again but sadly still nothing of honest newsworthy material coming from your station, just your opinions.
With or without you…..Ron Paul 2008!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please structure this debate in such a way as to ask the same questions to all the candidates.
Please use questions that illustrate how each candidate would handle the most important issues.
For example; What will you do in Iraq? What will you do in Afghanistan? What will you do with Social Security? What will you do to end illegal emmigration? How will you balance the budget and pay off national debt? How will you protect us from terrorism? How will you improve the American educational system ? How will you control health care costs and ensure that all have benefits?
Please make this a debate that offers alternate views by including Ron Paul. He is a valid candidate.
I’m going to laugh when Fox has to explain the criteria for this debate that fails to seat Dr Paul and seats people with fewer delegate totals than him, including at least one that will have dropped by then
Why is Ron Paul being left out of the debate. He has a lot of support and has just as good of a chance of winning as Fred Thompson. I feel the reason he is being left out is because he speaks out against the war and big government. Censoring a candidate because their views differ from Rupert Murdoch is not fair and balanced and is Un-American.
I would like to know how does Ron Paul expect us to believe that he will look out for our constitutional rights when he voted against honoring Rosa Parks?
And why is he so friendly to Neo-Nazi’s?
Ron Paul must be allowed to be in the upcoming debates.
Many voters in NH and across the country want to hear his message of freedom and liberty!
Let ALL the candidates speak in the debates.
Has FOX news left Dr. Ron Paul out of this debate? Why?????
Let the people decide!
Ron Paul wasn’t invited? Hurray! The only way we can hear more detailed answers from the candidates is to lower the number of people being asked. If they don’t have 10% of the polling vote they should be excluded so we can hear from those who actually have a chance of winning!
If you want to hear Ron Paul — go to his site!
I’ve been waiting for the news media to exclude Dr. Ron Paul from an event. It just proves the point of media bias. Here is one of the most popular presidential candidates and you are excluding him. This proves why we should boycott Fox News and its sponsors.
Allen Johnson
I think its the NH Forums on Jan 6 that Fox News is excluding Ron Paul from. Although I wouldn’t be surprised if they try to force him out of the debate as well or if he does attend get the most annoying questions (i.e. will you run as a 3rd party candidate, do you like gold coins with your face on it, will you give money back to a skinhead, etc)
Fox News used to be my favorite cable news network but now they can’t give honest coverage to a true conservative. When the Bunny Ranch owner endorsed RP they were all over it but when he raised the most money in single day ($6M+) they completely ignored it. Sad journalism.
If Fox News excludes DR. Paul from this debate I will not only cancel my cable but I will boycot your advertisers startig with my scottrade account.
I have the right as an american to see a debate not just a bunch of yes men with the same answer to every question
Come on you say your fair and balanced lets see it
Is it true that Dr. Ron Paul is not invited to participate in this event? What happened to “fair and balanced”? You are censoring what we are allowed to hear? That’s exactly what your competition does and why many of us flocked to Fox! I strongly suggest you invite Dr. Paul.
Your decision to not invite Ron Paul, MD to this debate is very disturbing to me. I have been a long time viewer of Fox News and most recently I enjoy Fox Business News Channel. I imagine that your decision to exclude him is based on his polling numbers.
Have you ever considered that your precious polls might be wrong? I have a hard line phone (not a cell phone) and my wife and I DON’T pick up the phone if the call is an unknown number. We have been excluded from your precious polls. I don’t care about your opinion polls! The only poll that matters is the one in my state for the primary. Your decision to EXCLUDE him limits his ability to share his wonderful ideas with the American’s that listen to your station.
Fox News, be fair and balanced and put Dr Paul back where you and I know he belongs, put him back in the debate.
Thanks!
I am very disappointed by Foxes decision to exclude Ron Paul. Whether or not Fox agrees with his views should be irrelevant. The fact is he polls higher than some of the other candidates you have invited in NH. You have a duty to let him be heard, and your refusal to do so smacks of being un-American. If he is indeed excluded you can forget about me watching anything fox does on any of it’s channels ever again.
Where is the “Fair and Balanced” reporting?
What is the point of the “You Decide” heading if I am not presented with ALL the candidates’ views?
What is the meaning of selective candidate exposure by Fox News?
Appalling!
Please make sure you include all the candidates in this debate. Media is already putting their money behind people, neglecting the public’s desire for information on all candidates. Our country is gaining speed on a bad road thanks to poor work by the media, Fox in particular. Once an avid viewer, I recently went back to NPR, and the internet for my news coverage. You should be ashamed of yourselves for ruining journalism, as it is the only tool the public has to truly check and balance the unwieldy power of a corrupt government. Gravel, Kucinic, Paul, Tancredo, Dodd, and even Obama, and Thompson have all suffered from poor coverage by your network. Your editors need to get in touch with Americans, not just compete with CNN for prettiest anchorwomen (they won already) and shallowest stories. I would not be surprised if the people you put in front of the camera have trouble sleeping with the knowledge of how cable news is destroying our democracy.
I will not watch the debate hosted by Fox since you have unwisely decided to exclude the next President of the US- Dr Ron Paul. Once again Fox has proven their biased slanted unfair and unbalanced policy. As soon as I get a chance I shall delete your channel from my television.
Oh, come on guys! Include Ron Paul in the New Hampshire debate. What are you afraid of? How are you going to look when Dr. Paul wins New Hampshire? At least cover your own backsides and pretend to be fair and balanced.
Please include Dr Paul in the debate.
You have no right to omit Ron Paul from the NH Republican Forums. The American people need to know what you people are really about.
This is fascism..
I used to watch the Oreilly Factor almost every night when it was more national or international in scope. Then, as Fox decided to try to keep up with the other cable networks, we started seeing more and more local “soap opera stuff”, such as sensational murders or radical professors or things that really don’t make much difference to others not directly affected, so I have not been watching it very much lately. Last night, Mr. Oreilly was away and another gentleman hosted the show. When that rude person would not even let a democratic supporter finish her statement about Ron Paul, I started to wonder what was going on. Then the gentleman continued to ridicule Ron Paul, shaking his head, putting on his glasses and pulling them off, and I could not tell if he was just acting or was doing whatever he could to keep the woman from talking about Ron Paul in direct response to his question. Now I am not a Ron Paul supporter or contributor, I have been leaning to Sen. John McCain, but I do think Dr. Paul does have something to say that people should hear. This morning I hear that Fox is going to exclude him from the NH debate on the 10th. All I can say is what is up at Fox? Why are you so afraid to let Ron Paul speak? I will definitely start paying more attention to what Ron Paul has to say from now on, because you (Fox) are acting like you have something to hide.
I find it extremely surprising that Dr. Paul is apparently going to be exluded from the debate. His fundraising alone justifies him to be in the debate. I expect more from Fox News than to try to marginalize his voice. He will be in this presidential discussion longer than Fred Thompson and Duncan Hunter - please don’t tell me they are invited and Dr. Paul is left out!
If Ron Paul is not allowed to participate in either the candidates forum or the presidential debates, Fox News will learn what “blowback” really means.
I was shocked and saddened to learn this morning that you will not be including Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul in the upcoming debate. Given his popularity with younger voters (I think I’m still in this category at 31), his fundraising success, and his important message of freedom, it’s important that his voice be heard. This man speaks from experience, from study, from a place of true patriotism. Please, please do not allow his voice to be excluded from the upcoming forum. His message of liberty and freedom MUST be heard!
Unbelievable. Simply unbelievable, that FOX would exclude the most conservative candidate from the debate. What kind of a joke of a network is FOX running? Ron Paul is the most conservative, most consistent member of congress. He’s leading many polls, he has raised a ton of money this quarter and he’s the only candidate that’s actually serious about making the government smaller. FOX news, perhaps you all could change the “You Decide 2008″ to, “Let FOX News Help Hilary Win 2008″ because Ron Paul is the only candidate that will win against Hillary.
FOX News please reconsider inviting Dr. Paul to the debate.
I see that this debate is AFTER both the NH primary and the Iowa caucus. IF Ron Paul is not on the current list of candidates to attend this debate, will he be asked at the last minute to join when he wins both states?
I think it is time for Fox News to finally change their name to the Fascist News Network for their true colors are finally been exposed. Invite Dr. Ron Paul if you truly want to be Fair and Balance but we know that is not the case you Fascist b*stards.
I always defend Fox News to all the people that critisize. But i cant defend Fox for not inviting Dr. Ron Paul. This is really sad that if he doesnt support the normal right wing ideas, then he is out of the media. Reconsider your position so i wont feel like an idiot all the times i backed you guys up. This is supposed to be a free election, I guess not.
I once had an assumption about Fox news…a biased collection of rambling hotheads
recently I’ve reconsidered this assumption and given Fox news a chance and I must admit there are things about it I really enjoy and have begun to change my harsh opinion.
However, upon hearing a rumor that the network has not invited Republican candidate Ron Paul I wonder at my generosity in changing my assumption.
I urge Fox news to reconsider this decision or at the very least offer some sort of explaination for this exclusion
Please invite Dr. Paul to participate in the Jan. 10 forum. Let the American people decide.
