George H.W. Bush Says He Did Not Agree to Diplomatic Mission With Bill Clinton
Nope, wouldn’t be prudent.
Former President George H.W. Bush is taking issue with statements made by Bill Clinton Monday that the duo would embark on a mission of diplomacy around the world if his wife is elected president.
Clinton reportedly made the statements in South Carolina, saying he and Bush would spread the message that “America is open for business and cooperation again,” implying that the former president would need to swoop in to repair diplomatic damage wrought by his son.

But George H.W. Bush’s Chief of Staff Jean Becker released a statement Tuesday saying he and Clinton have made no such plans - even though the two have grown close through charity work since their 1992 presidential election match up.
“Former President Bush wholeheartedly supports the president of the United States, including his foreign policy. He has never discussed an ‘around -the-world mission’ with either former President Bill Clinton or Sen. Clinton, nor does he think such a mission is warranted since he is proud of the role America continues to play around the world as the beacon of home for freedom and democracy,” Becker said. “President Bush is excited about several of the excellent Republican candidates running for President, and looks forward to supporting their candidacy once the Republican nominee is determined.”
Clinton’s comments were just his latest candid assessment of Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
In an interview with Charlie Rose on PBS Friday, Clinton played down expectations for his wife’s performance in the Iowa caucuses, saying it is a “miracle” she even has a chance in that state.
He also criticized rival Barack Obama as being too inexperienced to run for president and said voters would be taking a risk with him in the White House.

PLEASE VOTE FOR JOHN MACAIN. NO MORE CLINTON’S, PLEASE.
So if Obama isn’t qualied to be President for lack of international experience, then how was Slick Willy himself qualified by being governor of a not so international state of hog and chicken farmers? Bill and Hillary are so right for one another, but not for the rest of us.
Most of the world problems today were because of Bill Clinton’s years in the White House, having him close to the White House again is scary
Somehow I think Hillary is WISHING she instead had Oprah for a spokesperson right about now…
Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter, arguably the worst two occupants of the Whitehouse in history, just can’t seem to understand that they had their opportunity, failed, and need to just fade quietly away. Their legacy was established years ago, and their continued meddling in government just invites pity.
President Clinton is not a real friend to anyone. He thinks of himself only, and expects everyone to bow down to him. I blame him for the mess we are in. Everything was going downhill when President Bush took office. Clinton handed the U.S. to the terrorists on a silver platter. He let Bin Laden go, and he made a mockery of the Presidency. This cannot be disputed.
I think Bill Clinton should go on “an-around-the-world” mission NOW!
He hurts his wife’s candidacy every time he opens his mouth!
Just shows the continued arrogance of Clinton announcing that without asking Bush ‘41 . The problem her campaign has when they send Bill out is judiciously tempering his remarks! He is so arrogant he thinks he can say anything and get away with it…..including rewriting his history!
It never ceases to amaze me how purely narcissistic Bill Clinton is. He doesn’t even try to hide it. Everything is about him, everything comes back to him, everything centers around him, and everything he says just “is.” He is a case study!
Looks like Bill Clinton is desperate to get back to the white house and his glory days. Apparently he thinks that he is the savior of everything that is wrong, in his opinion, with the USA.
