George H.W. Bush Says He Did Not Agree to Diplomatic Mission With Bill Clinton

Border

Nope, wouldn’t be prudent.

Former President George H.W. Bush is taking issue with statements made by Bill Clinton Monday that the duo would embark on a mission of diplomacy around the world if his wife is elected president.

Clinton reportedly made the statements in South Carolina, saying he and Bush would spread the message that “America is open for business and cooperation again,” implying that the former president would need to swoop in to repair diplomatic damage wrought by his son.

But George H.W. Bush’s Chief of Staff Jean Becker released a statement Tuesday saying he and Clinton have made no such plans - even though the two have grown close through charity work since their 1992 presidential election match up.

“Former President Bush wholeheartedly supports the president of the United States, including his foreign policy. He has never discussed an ‘around -the-world mission’ with either former President Bill Clinton or Sen. Clinton, nor does he think such a mission is warranted since he is proud of the role America continues to play around the world as the beacon of home for freedom and democracy,” Becker said. “President Bush is excited about several of the excellent Republican candidates running for President, and looks forward to supporting their candidacy once the Republican nominee is determined.”

Clinton’s comments were just his latest candid assessment of Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

In an interview with Charlie Rose on PBS Friday, Clinton played down expectations for his wife’s performance in the Iowa caucuses, saying it is a “miracle” she even has a chance in that state.

He also criticized rival Barack Obama as being too inexperienced to run for president and said voters would be taking a risk with him in the White House.

OMG, you people are blind. 9/11 happened during the Bush administration!!!!!! If the first President Bush would have allowed the military to go into Baghdad the first time, our soldiers would not be over there dying now!! Both wars are the product of the Bushes, not the Clintons. You don’t protect the borders but the oil fields? The oil is why we are over there, not for the defense of the U.S. You send the same soldiers back, over and over again! Why? Because the military can’t get enough people to sign up. The injured ones are treated like dirt. When did Bush ever go to the airport and greet the planes that bring home the boxes with our soldiers in?? The longer we are in Iraq, the more the price of oil goes up! Doesn’t anyone else feel this to be strange? Isn’t this the lowest an outgoing President’s ratings have been? The Americans spoke during the election for the senators and congressmen, they will speak again for the Presidential election! You at Fox, on the tv and on your website, are so Republican!! The news channels are supposed to report news not create it!!! A review of the Presidents State of Unions Address is written in a red font, why would I or many millions of Americans want to listen to more of his lies. History will show the Bush administration to be on of the most corrupt ever. I know for sure with that being said , you won’t show this on your Fox News. Let’s move on to CNN!

I am deeply concerned by the opinion that we never should have gone to war. Maybe I just had a really bad dream on Sept 11 2001 when the terriost flew planes in to the twin towers killing 1000’s of innocent people, or when they flew a plane into the pentagone, or the plane that the american heros drove in to the ground before it could be used as a weapon. I think we have every right to have gone to war, I wish I could have gone over and fought. I am so incrediably proud of the men and women who have defended this country with such unselfish heroism. I am the mother of a son who will be shipping to the sand box, the mother in law of a young man who just came back from the sand box. Both of these young men have fought for this country so that ignorant people with short memories can sit back on thier butts and jugde them for doing something to protect thier country. Remember they struck first.

Hillary’s experience lies in lying; release the records

This is typical of Bill Clinton’s “loose with the truth” approach. His lies about & behavior toward women are legendary–yet he remains the most popular man in America to Democrats. This says much about the the “progressives” who populate this party. As a father who had to answer questions to 12 & 13 year old daughters about cigars & their President–I find Bill Clinton a repulsive, immoral man who shamed our Presidency. You Dems know how to pick a hero!

I am a republican and am shocked at the dividing of the country by the Clinton Campaign. This has insured by belief in the republican party. Their tactics have moved this country based on freedoms back to the days of slavery. The republican party must preserve the future and the freedoms of America.

My fmr Commander In Chief Ronald W. Reagan said: “Trust But Verify.” We cannot trust Bill Clinton with anything and the proof is what he has done to our nation in addition to not taking the terrorist threat seriously and aiding our enemies. Hillary Clinton says we must elect her to the Presidency because of her experience, yet the basis of that experience lies in the records kept during the Arkansan Governorship of Bill Clinton and his two term presidency. these are documents that she refuses to release, while hiding behind him and saying it’s up to him to say yes or no to revealing the papers. To this day we still have no disclosure of his medical records yet we know what George W. Bush’s medical history is.

These people thrive on secrecy and deception. the less you know about them, the more powerful they are and the more they can sway you to their way unless you know their true intent. They have left a trail of mysterious deaths behind them and destroyed lives. they make the maffia look like the boy scouts. Don’t be bamboozled!

I voted for Bill Clinton twice and he did a good job.
He should step back now and let his wife do her
own thing and she will do a good job. As for
George H W Bush I would not trust him at all.
