George H.W. Bush Says He Did Not Agree to Diplomatic Mission With Bill Clinton

Nope, wouldn’t be prudent.

Former President George H.W. Bush is taking issue with statements made by Bill Clinton Monday that the duo would embark on a mission of diplomacy around the world if his wife is elected president.

Clinton reportedly made the statements in South Carolina, saying he and Bush would spread the message that “America is open for business and cooperation again,” implying that the former president would need to swoop in to repair diplomatic damage wrought by his son.

But George H.W. Bush’s Chief of Staff Jean Becker released a statement Tuesday saying he and Clinton have made no such plans - even though the two have grown close through charity work since their 1992 presidential election match up.

“Former President Bush wholeheartedly supports the president of the United States, including his foreign policy. He has never discussed an ‘around -the-world mission’ with either former President Bill Clinton or Sen. Clinton, nor does he think such a mission is warranted since he is proud of the role America continues to play around the world as the beacon of home for freedom and democracy,” Becker said. “President Bush is excited about several of the excellent Republican candidates running for President, and looks forward to supporting their candidacy once the Republican nominee is determined.”

Clinton’s comments were just his latest candid assessment of Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

In an interview with Charlie Rose on PBS Friday, Clinton played down expectations for his wife’s performance in the Iowa caucuses, saying it is a “miracle” she even has a chance in that state.

He also criticized rival Barack Obama as being too inexperienced to run for president and said voters would be taking a risk with him in the White House.

Yet another story published by Fox News that should have properly been proofread before being published. I can’t recall how many times I’ve sent such messages to Fox News, including one site where they absolutely promise to reply, all to no avail. Your organization should be ashamed of it’s lack of journalistic excellence. Even a spell and syntax checker would catch most of the errors … “Beacon of home …?”

I was a staunch supporter of Hillary until recently. She has made a public showing of her desire to steal the White House, even if it isn’t the will of the general public. How is this different from Bush v. Gore (c. 2000)? I am very disappointed in President Clinton and Senator Clinton. I also find her fuming very comical. She really expected to win on the Health Care platform. It didn’t work in 1993, and it isn’t going to work now. When she seethes, quite obviously trying to conceal her contempt for actually having to work to get the Democratic nomination, I can’t help but to laugh at her.

It is time for a real change…Obama in 2008!

Lies, lies and more lies. That’s all we have ever gotten from the Clintons. They both are so power hungry they will do or say anthing to get back in the White House. I laugh everytime I hear her talk about all her experience. First Lady of Arkansas and First Lady of the United States. Her opponent dropped out of the senate race with cancer (only reason she became a Senator). Congress has the lowest rating of all times, The US is still waiting for them to do one constructive thing. Their 100 days have come and gone. This is her great experience. Hillary stick to investigation Bill”s other women.

When will most people begin to realize what some of us have always known? You can tell when Bill Clinton (and for that matter Hillary Clinton) is lying. He has his mouth open!

OPEN MESSAGE TO ALL;

GLOBALISM IS AKA ” NEW WORLD ORDER” ; JUST CONSIDER IT A COINCIDENCE THAT ADOLPH HITLER COINED IT FIRST!

COMMUNISM IS ALSO UNDER THIS CATEGORY; IT IS A WORLD-WIDE REVOLUTIONARY
MOVEMENT AND THEY WANT TO ERASE ALL BORDER’S IN THE WORLD INCLUDING THE UNITED STATES.

JFK, J EDGAR HOOVER WERE ON TOP OF THIS EARLY ENOUGH BUT DID NOT PLACE ANY EMPHASIS ON A “NEW WORLD ORDER” SYNTHESIS.

I AM GOING TO SAY THIS AS STRONGLY AS I CAN, I NO OF NOONE IN MY CIRCLES OF CLASSIFIED OPNS THAT COULD PULL OFF 9/11 AS IT WAS DONE BACK THEN!!! IN ORDER FOR MYSELF AND MY TEAM TO DO SO ,WE WOULD NEED FULL COMPLICITY OF NORTH AMERICAN AIR DEFENSE COMMAND AND FAA CONTROLLER’S OR SOFTWARE THAT WOULD CAMAFLOUGE
OUR OPN TOTALLY!!!! NOT ONLY WOULD THIS BE SO HIGHLY COMPARMENTED WE WOULD HAVE TO BE ABSOLUTELY SURE THAT WE COULD DECEIVE THE ENTIRE U.S. AIR FORCE, THE
JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF, SPY SATELLITES i.e NRO AND ANYONE ELSE YOU CAN THINK OF!!???

RON PAUL IS THE ONLY PERSON WHO UNDERSTANDS THIS CONSPIRACY AND ALL THE CANDIDATES HAVE THEIR GOOD POINTS BUT IT’S NOT ENOUGH! IF THE WORDS OF ” NEW

Firstly, to all people here with an intelligent argument for whichever political association they may have, kudos to you. Personally I’m a Republican. Do I agree with everything Bush has done? Nope. I still stand by the man because in my opinion, he’s done the right thing overall. He’s a good man and does things that he believes is right for the country that I know he loves. Compare that to the Michael Moores and the Sean Penns of the world that go to hostile countries to undermine the very country that gives them their oppulent lifestyes. If there are traitors to be named they would be the first that come to mind.
I’ve served 9 years in the Marines with some of the most remarkable people I will ever meet in my lifetime . I take issue with some of the folks here that blame the U.S. for the Islamic threat to our nation. They were killing your country’s men and women long before 9/11, the bombing of the Cole and so on. People are just so shocked and ashamed of our country because we’re actually doing something about it. If memory serves me right, the same mindset was held by the world of turning a blind eye to an ever looming threat that was Hitler leading up to WWll.
Of course all Muslims aren’t evil. To say so is incredibly ignorant . Are there a group of Islamic extremist out there that have only one goal of killing as many people as they possibly can? You better crawl out from under that rock you’ve been hiding under. We should and are doing something about it. Some of you mindless sheep that hate our Marines and other servicemembers that stand in picketlines and denounce us don’t deserve to be on the same soil that we’ve fought, bled and died for. I live by the mantra that no matter if something is wrong and everyone is doing it, it’s still wrong . If you’re the only one doing the right thing it’s still right. I think our Presidents’ poll numbers say a lot. My advice to people is to stop watching so much damned tv and listening to idiot actors spew their crap about how bad our country is to get off your collective butts and really take a long hard look how you should contribute to making this country better. You want to vote for a socialist in Hillary or a man that wants to quit in the middle of war and forfeit it to killers , then so be it. Just prepare for what you wish for .
