Giuliani, Romney Tied in GOP Race, New Poll Shows

Rudy Giuliani has yielded his lead in the Republican presidential race, a new Wall Street Journal/NBC poll shows.

According to the poll, Giuliani and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney are now tied in the contest for the GOP nomination, each at 20 percent among Republicans nationally. The poll showed Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee at 17 percent and Sen. John McCain at 14 percent.

Poll results suggested that bad publicity surrounding Mr. Giuliani’s personal life may have been a significant factor in his fall from a high of 38 percent. Just 35 percent of Republican voters gave Mr. Giuliani a high rating on having “high personal standards that set the proper moral tone for the country.”

Sixty-five percent rated McCain highly on that issue; 60 percent rated Romney highly on the question and 53 percent Huckabee.

I’am voting for Mitt Romney. I wish the media would pay more attention to him. Romney is the right person for the job. I feel he will be the most formidable Republican opponent against the Democrats. Sharon in CA.

I for one am grateful that this country can still produce a Mitt Romney. He is a great example of all that is good about this country. All I have to do is look at his family and his personal achievements. Look at his parents. Look at his children. No one can script that. There is substance to the man. There is character. He is the kind of role model I want my children to see. He’s smart, experienced and best prepared to lead this great nation in the very critical years ahead.

If you really take a close look, the question we need to ask is, “Why not Romney?” Here’s a self-made success, clean and honest, moral and forthright. This is the very thing we need in this country. Why should we settle for the same old political hacks? Give someone a chance that knows how to salvage a business, be true to his ideals, and lead this country back to a position of strength and virtue. We need LEADERSHIP, NOT PARTISANSHIP!!!

I am so excited for Mitt. He is such a good man and I know he will make a fine president. I love the fact that he’s not running for the glory or the power, but he’s running because he believes 100% in America and in the American people. He’s honest, decent and sincere. He is a proven leader and his faith and optimism are exactly what this country needs right now. I don’t care that he’s Mormon. He is going to win this nomination and I am so excited for that day to get here.

WHO IS RON PAUL?
Nice to see the “media” still ignores this rising hope for America!
Freedom isn’t free and many Americans are showing their support $20-$100 at a time, to the tune of breaking donation records! Not to mention the donations are mostly from INDIVIDUALS!
Even if Ron Paul doesn’t win, America has. The Revolution will continue, now that the seeds of freedom have been planted.
We all may not agree 100% with Dr. Paul’s stance on all topics, but who agrees with anyone 100%? This man keeps his word. He will tell you where he stands and has the history to back it up. Check his voting record. No flip-flop for Ron. He didn’t vote for it after he voted against it.

Let’s show support for “Dr.No!” Let’s hit the political system head on. FRONT TWOARD ENEMY!

Long live the Revolution!

Rudy did an excellent job in NYC after 9/11, but going forward we need Mitt Romney to help this country restore its integrity and honor in the world. Of all the candidates currently running, including the Democrats, Mitt has the credentials to do this and is honest beyond reproach. Mitt is my man for president.

Rudy Giuliani is the strongest Republican candidate. Rudy was part of President Reagan’s administration. As third in line in the Reagan Justice Department, Rudy successfully prosecuted Mafia chieftains. Additionally, while Giuliani was NYC Mayor, he lowered taxes, lowered crime, took people off welfare and moved them into paying jobs, attracted businesses and increased employment. Rudy Giuliani has proven that he is a leader. I am a Republican who misses Ronald Reagan. I am voting for Rudy Giuliani for president in 2008.

Mitt Romney is the only one qualified to propel us economically to new heights. He is by far the smartest individual from either party and will ensure a better future for our children. He gets immigration policy and also the war on terror. Is there a down side to him becoming President?????
