Genuine or Calculating? It Doesn’t Matter Say Some Hillary Clinton Fans

Border

She’s dished with Ellen Degeneres, charmed David Letterman’s late night audience, made wink-’n-nod jokes about her husband and laughed off uncomfortable questions from interviewers.

When asked if Hillary Clinton still seems calculating, humorless and cold, her surrogates say she is extremely funny and warm and that audiences just love her.

But is love the right word?

A successful career as a U.S. senator from New York, skillful political maneuvering and some reinvention have allowed the former first lady to neutralize much of the baggage from Bill Clinton’s administration, as well as any idea that she was riding in on his coattails, political analysts say. Today, labels like “stateswoman,” “most sophisticated,” and “centrist” have replaced many of the negative character sketches from the ’90s.

But her personality could nonetheless affect her drive to the White House, though no one seems to agree on whether it is a fatal political flaw.

“She’s a little aloof, a little taciturn … a little bit on the cold side,” said Terry Madonna, public affairs professor and director of the Franklin & Marshall College Keystone Poll, discussing some of the negative impressions the former first lady has tried to shake.

“Her biggest problem is the perception of people just not liking her,” said Matt Towery, head of the Atlanta-based Insider Advantage polling company.

But after interviewing her, Towery said, his own view changed. She seemed much more likable in person. “A completely different Hillary Clinton — she was charming and she was open and if it were an act it was a good one,” he said.

Clinton has made efforts to expand on that in television appearances for non-political audiences. On Ellen Degeneres’ talk show, she showed a sarcastic sense of humor and comedic timing, and she laughed heartily when asked pointedly awkward questions, such as why her universal health care reform plan failed in 1993.

Voters in early primary states who have had a real chance to listen to her and shake her hand also say they are pleasantly surprised.

“It might be phony as baloney,” said Towery. “But it doesn’t matter, she is making all the right moves.”

Others complain, however, that Clinton comes off as contrived — another personality bee in the bonnet of critics and voters alike.

A hard-charging lawyer and politician’s wife for over 30 years, it is taken for granted that Clinton is ambitious and driven and half of one of the most politically savvy couples in recent memory. But where Bill Clinton had a near-legendary ability to connect with people, his wife has struggled.

“She is not Bill Clinton. People found him a likable person. We don’t find her a likable person and that is a huge cross to bear if you are running for high-level office,” said Aubrey Immelman, professor of psychology and head of the Unit for the Study of Personality in Politics at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University in Minnesota.

In creating candidate profiles, Immelman and his research team use a diagnostic tool based on 170 criteria, and they pore through reams of autobiographies, biographies and any political material written about specific candidates to determine which of the criteria they meet. Typically, a candidate will, to some degree, match 30 to 40 of these measures, which are used to build a sketch.

While Clinton’s strong traits are her “major personal strength and her commanding presence,” Immelman has determined that her negatives include ambition fueled by narcissism and an impulse for dominance, a lack of empathy and “cognitive inflexibility” — in other words, “she’s pretty set in her ways.”

Immelman, a former clinical psychologist, said it will be hard for Clinton to truly change. “You can’t script everything,” he said, noting that he has already caught hell from Clinton supporters who charge he is targeting her because she is a woman.

This response is a familiar one, and some analysts say it’s not far off the mark. They say women, and especially the few who run for office, are often scrutinized for not only how “warm and fuzzy,” empathetic and “tough” they are, but on what they wear, and how they wear it. Clinton, as the woman presidential candidate with a clear shot of winning, has been under a microscope from the beginning, said Marie Wilson, head of the White House Project.

“We insist on so much from any ‘first’ that they live up to expectations that other non-firsts don’t have to, particularly when it is a woman. If she were running against four other women in the race … we wouldn’t be looking at every perceived flaw or stereotype,” she said.

The White House Project promotes the role of women in leadership positions. Wilson said today’s women candidates are expected to be tough without losing their femininity. Candidates like Clinton often get the rap that they are acting like men to succeed. Wilson says Clinton has found the right balance, despite the tightrope the media and her critics often make her walk. “I’m feeling optimistic,” she added.

But being a woman doesn’t allow the campaign to make excuses for poor performances. Clinton tussled — and stumbled — in the Oct. 30 Democratic debate, and her campaign’s initial inclination to suggest it was the “boys ganging up on the girl” garnered a sharp response in the media for seemingly playing “the gender card.”

Clinton got kudos, on the other hand for fighting back with tough political rebukes of her male opponents during the followup debate in Las Vegas on Nov. 15. During the same event, however, she invoked the “glass ceiling” that limits women’s success — showing how dizzying the dance can be.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Lawless, author of the 2005 book, “It Takes a Candidate: Why Women Don’t Run for Office,” pointed out that not only does Clinton have to deal with gender entanglements, but the trove of stereotypes that have been formed about her since she arrived in Washington 15 years ago. But while the voters may already have decided whether they “like” her or not, it may not matter in an election fueled by war policy and a demand for change from the current Republican regime.

“This might be one of the only times her liability, disapproval ratings, may not cost her an election,” said Lawless.

Clinton remains far and wide the frontrunner in all national polling and is leading state primary polls as well. Many of the Democratic primary voters polled say she has the best shot at winning the White House in 2008.

However, she also has the highest disapproval ratings of any other candidate, according to recent polling, including a Dec. 20 FOX News/Opinion Dynamics survey that found that 49 percent of respondents view Clinton negatively, a greater number than the 45 percent who view her positively.

“People have made up their minds about Hillary, for better or for worse,” said Sean Evans, professor of political science at Union University in Tennessee. “That provides her with a smaller margin of error, because she has to get all of her people, and a few more to win.”

Eric Dezenhall, a Washington-based Republican public relations strategist, thinks Clinton is “not that bad” compared to the caricature of a “crazy, screeching, Hollywood left-wing, bra-burning, communist, feminist” that he says has been conjured in the past by critics on the right. He also thinks she can win, despite the polarization.

“We have had plenty of divisive people before — you don’t have to win by a landslide,” Dezenhall said. “I do think she is more charming that conventional wisdom gives her credit for.”

I am sorry, but I believe Hilary already served her term and anyone that thinks differently had their eyes closed. I just don’t trust her. I am hoping Obama gets the nomination. Otherwise, I am going to have to look at the republican candicates very closely.

I got a real laugh out of this article about Hillary being worried that people don’t like her. Take a look at her previous record, her numerous side steps of the law…etc. She should have no problem understanding why people don’t like her…..it is her record and past experiences!!

When a person has to change her campaign to show that she is not cold and calculating, there is something wrong. According to the people who worked in the Clinton whitehouse as well as the people who flew and worked on Air Force One while she was first lady detested her, not because of her beliefs but because she could be cruel and nasty to them. Just who I want for my president.

Comment by Fred Lendt

She is cold and calculating. Most of what she says is from Bill, not her. She is not electable. She runs now only to set the stage for Bill to run again in four years.

Comment by KD

Charming means absolutely NOTHING without honesty and integrity. So these people would elect an admitted liar who has a criminal history that anyone with half a brain can look up? I pity their narrow shallow thinking, and I fear for the country if she is elected.

Comment by Sean Horan

It doesn’t matter what she does. Re-invent the wheel for all I care. Eight years of the Clinton’s were enough. This country still has a long way in growing, and with another Clinton at the helm, forget it, this country will be ruined. Can I say “fall of the Roman Empire”!

The leaning left media provides a free pass at every chance for her.

Hillary can not floss over and hide her Marxist collectivist ways. Somehow her media accomplices have been allowed cover up her scandals.

I saw the last Dem debates and they all talked about socialist, collectivist ideas. Not once did they question whether or not their proposals were a true function of the federal gov’t.

Could never vote for “Billary.” She is so phony and changes her positions for the sake of gaining or retaining her power. It’s time for a change. I just can’t trust her. I’m a republican who would rather vote for Obama. He’s a refreshing change.

Comment by Brian Do

Who describes her as “centrist?” The People’s Republic of China? I keep hearing people who support her say they want a woman as president, and people support Barack because they want a Black President. Unfortunately, the best female and black person for president, isn’t running- Condoleezza Rice.

Comment by terry hamilton

I dont believe she has any experience to run this country or any other for that matter. So she was a senator , what did she do as a senator, tell me please. She tried to run things when her husband was president and she messed that all up. It’s a sad day for the democratic party when she’s the best we have to offer up to run for president.

Comment by Kari

As a lifelong democrat, thought certainly not far left, I sincerely hope she does not get the nomiation. I think she is the most totally insincere, calculating, fake person in the race, and would hate to think of her as president. Please, Democratic party, think about it before you make her the nominee. That would pretty much guarantee another Republican President.

Comment by Mary Tatum

I believe Hillary Clinton is a very, politically, dangerous person. I find her highly unlikeable and certainly not qualified to be President. It will be a extremely sad day for the United States of America if she is elected President.

What a Joke. Hillary is a calcualting manipulating politician in a time when we need a leader. She cares about one thing and that is winning more power. She is exactly the same as every republican who relys on cronyism to succeed. She wants to take credit for being integrally involved in the Clinton White house yet distances herself from all the negatives. You cannot have it both ways. Riding elephants in Africa and having tea with other diplomats wives hardly counts as executive experience. He biggest role was in healthcare and she failed miserably. She has very little experience and her time in the senate is most notable for her politcal self agrandizing on the national stage while covertly bilking the country to the tune of over 500 million dollars for pork spending projects. As evidenced by her intent to fund a hippy museum with nearly 2 million in taxpayer funds. I am all for celebrating that time in history but not on the taxpayer dime when education, helathcare, and many other areas need more immediate attention. She is simply a calcualting “what’s in it for me” politician. And for those who tout her experince let us not forget the pardoning of Marc Rich and the hundreds of other felons pardoned by the clintons. Marc Rich bilked the USA out of 60+ million in taxes and ran away to avoid prosecution. he scammed the oil for food program and operated in direct contradiction to out countries foreign policy, but he gets pardoned form Bill and Hillary because of how much money he rasied for them. You should not be able to buy your way out of treason and if you do, I for one will not want to elect the facilitator president. Hillary Clinton is corrupt, inexperinced, and totally beholden to special interests. ANYONE BUT HER 2008

Comment by concerned

If you are just voting for her because it’s time for a woman to be the President, then you are both biased and sexist. She would not be considered a viable candidate if her husband had not been the President previously. Although she has an outstanding attendence and voting record while she was a senator, every one knows that she had modified her true values to be able to run for the Presidency. It’s ironic how much she is just like GWB.

Comment by Kenneth J Roberts

as news go’s so dose Hilary Clinton what I don’t
understand how can two 60’s hippies tell the news media what to ask and what to tell . If this were a woman running on the republican side she would have already been destroyed by the media . Fact of the matter is she has not been asked a question that she can answer right and she laughs off most of the serious questions and that is not presidential at all. what we need is some hard questions and some very good answers like about the funding and the papers at the Clinton library. I would like to see some questions submitted by honest people that work for a living and I would ask her how can people live with mandated health care and where is the money coming from, and I would expect more then just a general espousing of the answer. and one I lioke is will she be captured by the likes of scientist Al Gore and plunge this country into a depression because no one will be able to afford to but energy .

Comment by Bill K.

This article completely misses the character flaw of dishonesty. The law firm files that showed up in her office in the whitehouse and the whitehouse travelgate affair demonstrate her basic dishonesty and that is what so many people will not trust.

Comment by Laura

God help us if the Clintons get in the White House again. She is a cold calculating women with an agenda of free give aways for the poor and minorities. I do not understand why people hate George Bush so much he is a good man and has done what he thought was right for this country. Hilary will only do what is right for her and her career so women stop and think before you vote for this women because she is as phoney as they come and she will only take this country in the wrong direction. I am sure the terrorists want her to win though so we can appease them!!!!

Comment by John Duresky

The questions is, if her name was Hillary Rodham Schwartz, with all the same background and experience (minus taxpayer funded vacations to shake hands with people overseas), and the same list of “accomplishments”, would anyone even remotely consider her as a serious Presidential candidate….the answer is NO. Ms. Vlahos wrote “…have allowed the former first lady to neutralize….any idea that she was riding in on his (Bill’s) coattails…. Huh? It has? Guess that must be why Bill is around so much on the campaign trail. She is CLEARLY riding on his coattails and nothing else. Also, Ms. Vlahos writes, “…Today, labels like “stateswoman,” “most sophisticated,” and “centrist” have replaced many of the negative character sketches from the ’90s…” Huh? They have? Just what in the heck has HRC done that makes her a “stateswoma?” I won’t even bother asking about the other two descriptions. Ms. Vlahos, you are talking to people wearing rose colored glasses when they describe HRC.

Comment by R. L. Gibbs

The far left needs to wake up to the reality that it is not about Hillary being a woman. There are other women who are likely as qualified or better qualified than Hillary. Personal contention is that she is more vicious than Bill could ever dream of being. There is no personal side to Hillary. Her entire life is about Her. The Clinton relationship is one of convenience. They feed off one another but live separate lives. Re-visit any interview Hillary has given and do two things, listen to the question being asked and secondly, listen clearly to Hillary’s response. She never answers a question directly. She is politically estute about double speak. As a politician, despite what she would have us believe, Hillary is not in any elected office to serve the American people. She is in office to serve herself and her twisted political agenda. Having a woman as President does not offend me. Hillary Clinton is simply not the one.

hillary clinton is not as bad as some think or as good as some think, in my estimation she is somewhere in the middle. most poiticians say what they have to say to the appropriate crowd, if you didn’t, you would be practically unelectable wouldn’t you agree? to me she is savvy, shrewd, calculating, and cold, I noticed she not good at making direct eye contact when she is speaking to an audience. Secondly, i don’t believe america is really ready for a female president, in spite of what all the talking heads are saying. personally, i believe it’s a man’s job. Quite frankly, i don’t believe she is the best choice on the democract side of the isle.

Comment by Tom Doyle

I like the saying that if you believe in Hillary you believe in Santa Claus. I have never seen her as a sincere person, but one that is calculating, conniving and will say anything to get elected. She is power hungry and doesn’t have a clue what she is going to do if elected. I wouldn’t follow her if the building was burning down and she said follow me. I would go the opposite direction. If people think that Bush hurt this country, wait until we get a dose of Hillary. Unfortunately, the only leader running will never get the nod.

Hillary Clinton is the most dangerous threat to Democracy in America that there is! If she is elected, the U.S. will go from a Republic to a Socialist state by the end of her term. In other words, we would be in big trouble. Her past business dealings, if delved into should be enough to stop her, along with the personal life style that she has chosen to live for years. Ask the “Secret Service” about “Mother Superior”, during her White House years.

That’s all a bunch of crap! The article is faulty on it’s face. Hillary being humorous and charming doen’t even begin to describe her. If you think she’s genuine, I have land on the north pole to sell. Look at the woman’s history. Look at her formitive years that led up to her political carreer. If you believe she’s a centrist, again, I have all sorts of deals to sell you.

Hillary is nothing more than a woman who has gotten her socialist ideas from the 60’s and never grew up. If you’re the type that listens to media matters type journalism. If you’re the type that wants big govenment handling so called “Free Healthcare”. If you’re the type that wants another supreme court judge like Ruth Bader Ginzberg, you’ll run to the polls and vote for Hillary. Extreme left wing secular agenda’s are what you get with Hillary. If that’s what you want, Go for it! You might as well start waving the Russian Flag in America though. Socialism Yipee! We’ll all be taken care of by “Big Brother”. Absolutely no entrepreneural spirit will be tolerated in America. In fact! business will be treated as welfare centers. There will be no incentive to excel as an employee or an employer making us all waste land producers, lazy and the American spirit will be dead as long as an extreme left wing hippy from the 60’s like Hillary is running the country. Hey if you’re a christian, you’ll have absolutely no rights what so ever to practice your religion either. Watch and see! Let’s all elect Comrad Hillary Clinton Yeah!

Everyone has a more formal and a more relaxed side. I am quite different in my presentation during a business meeting than I am in an an informal gathering whether it’s with friends or new aquaintances. Get real! Hillary Clinton is intelligent and well equipped to handle both foreign and domestic matters. Her professional presentation appears to threaten many…yet the cocky, sarcastic and domineering demeanor of our current president has been tolerated by many and hailed by others. Regardless of what the news reports, the first truly electable and solid candiate for President is quite often presented negatively by the press for things she says and does that if she were a man, would be non-issues! It’s sad day when this is all you guys have to report on via the internet news!!!

I believe that if her name was Hillary Smith, she would be sitting in Arkansas baking cookies. She isn’t actually qualified to do much more. I would love to see a list of actual, concrete actions and results that she is responsible for. Every mother in the world can say they’ve been for children’s rights for years so what is that? This country lived with the disgrace of her husbands lying, cheating, sexual disgrace and finally being impeached - I can’t believe any thinking person would say whether a person is sincere or not doesn’t matter. I don’t want another lying cheating President that can’t be trusted with basically anything, been there, done that. You may or may not agree with President Bush, but he tells it like it is whether its popular or not. He stands for his beliefs and values and makes no bones about it. I will not settle for anything less this time around and I hope the country won’t either!!

I don’t understand why the news keeps trying to pin the “cold and calculating” label on Hillary. They also keep using “not likeable”. That’s ridiculous!! No matter what anyone dredges up or “tries” to dredge up - I’m still voting for Hillary. Has nothing do do with her being a women (although that would be the biggest change yet) and you’re all talking so much about wanting change. It’s more about her experience and being a Democrat. Republicans are out for big businesses and helping the rich get richer. I think I’m going to stop watching the news channels like Fox, CNN, MSNBC, until the primarys - all your negativity makes me sick.

Comment by Nigel Tufnel

Hillary is the female personification of another American president who was just like her: Richard Nixon. He was cold, paranoid, unlikable, and ultimately, untrustworthy, just like her. She is exactly as she seems, and no amount of phony fluff is going to change the fact she is a cold, heartless, calculating person, who will do or say whatever it takes to get what she wants.

Hillary Clinton has done nothing for anyone!!! Her experience is that of a hanger-on to a man who rose to power. And they both DAMNED SURE never give a second thought to their own health insurance costs or retirement income availability.
WAKE UP, AMERICA!

Personally, the thought of Clinton getting into the White House scares the hell out of me. Democrat or no, with people wanting change, this one just isn’t the one. The one good thing is that if she does get in, and then shows her true colors, which I am sure are hiding just waiting, she can always be impeached. The story went on about her way of dress. I don’t care if she is wearing sweats all the time, I could care less what she wears in the public eye. What concerns me are her views and constant harassment and disrespect of the current administration. She is too liberal in her thinking and we need to tighten up the problems, not give way to the warm fuzzies that everyone seems to cherish. For maybe the first time, I am really paying a lot more attention to the debates and am ready for the primaries.

She is one half of a disfunctional couple. The other half was disbared, impeached, lied to the Supreme Court, had several extra marial affairs, approved 347 pardons before leaving office(including a Rodham family member charged with a drug offense). After leaving office he accepted millions for his Library from the Saudi’s and Chinese. I’m ashamed he claims to be an American. He should never be allowed back anywhere near the White House.
She has no experience (or if being married to a President counts then maybe one of the Bush ladies should run) in anything remotely connected with being a President. If there are people who hate Bush and there are….. they will be surprised at how good he looks compared to a potential “Billery” Presidency. Wake up America, you can’t be serious when it comes to the Clintons.

Hillary is a qualified, exciting candidate with sound policy plans to better America’s future and end the terrible mistakes of the Bush administration. I urge everyone to throw away your preconceptions and re-examine her as a potential President. She actually is more likable this year. And even if she isn’t that warm and friendly, haven’t we figured out over the last 8 years that being likable is not the most important qualification to lead our country?

Take a look at our state (not NY City) and see how awful the taxes are, the high cost of living because of health insurance, health care, state taxes, property taxes, heating oil; the list can go on forever, and you will see why no New York State politician (oops I forgot, she isn’t even from our state!) should be running the federal government. The lies and general lack of respect for the American Voter is a disgrace and she is the biggest culprit.

It is interesting that when Condi Rice is criticized by the left, she nor the right never say it’s because she’s a woman, or black. They have the sense to recognize that it is because she is a conservative. The same was true of Margaret Thatcher. The left hated her. She never tried to defend her views by calling her critics anti-woman. She just governed by her convictions and did a very good job of explaining those convictions. Hillary supporters have to resort to calling her critics anti-woman because Hillary has no real convictions except personal power. That is why she shifts constantly according to what is most likely to win votes and good press. This makes it difficult for her to express any sense of personal conviction, as she does not want to be quoted later when she shifts yet again. It really hurts the left to write off Hillary’s critics as anti-woman, because it just fuels the perception that Hillary can’t offer any real substance to the discussion.

Hitlary will say or do anything to get back into the White House. Even her accent changes to fit the region. Cold and calculating , evasive, and haggard. She wont get my vote!

I don’t think “love” is the right word. I think what Hillary has found in her fan base, is more of a cult like following. Her socialist views and agendas have sparked many of the communist/socialist minded people to come out and support her. It really is only a minority of people. This is why she probably won’t win in ‘08. The only polls we see are from a skewed media, who also support the socialist outlook on government. Even though she is leading her party for the nomination, it is pretty clear that more Americans are supporting the other party. In essence, the polls are only showing her in the lead because of the small minded people that are being polled. We all know that the polls are made up of false numbers that are put out there to get the sheep of the public to follow along like good little automotons. Spoon fed! Hillary can do nothing but harm to our country. People think the economy is looking bad now, wait and see, if she does become President and she implements all of her “we need to take care of everyone so we can keep control of them” agendas, how high our taxes will be, and how bad the economy will really become.

It’s not an understatement to say that a very large percentage of Americans “hate” Clinton. She’s running for office the same way her husband did. Run as a moderate to appeal to enough voters to win, then govern as a progresseive. Folks on the left have claimed for years that Bush was not able to bring America together. I can’t thnk of any single candidate from either side that is less likely to accomplish that than Clinton.

I think she is a very smart lady. However, I don’t trust her. She also has NO experience running anything let alone a government. She seems to use the fact that she was married to the President as experience. How so? She didn’t make any decisions. She advised her husband as any wife does her spouse, but ultimately the decisions were made by Bill.

Hillary’s only true identity is a pathetic intellectually vacuous feminist who has ridden on the coattails of her husband for years. She has nothing to offer except marching around the world trying to prove she is the Woman of the Century. She is truly an empty suit and I pray to God the people of this great nation see that. Look to someone like Fred Thompson who has some substance anc atual experience.

It doesn’t matter to me if she can charm a crowd on the Ellen show or not. I would have to agree that she only does things that benefits her and her carreer. I don’t think that she would do anything for this country of ours. I feel bad for the women who just want to vote for Hilary just for the fact that she is a women. I believe she does not have the experience to even be president, I’m scared for this country if she is elected, but I highly doubt that she will be. I hope the voters out there consider the fact that Hilary can’t be trusted and she would only cause a downfall the the United States.

Fairly or not, she is not the personality I could be able to naturally respect and it has nothing to do with being a female. One cannot forget her ideology, constant changing on issues, and operating ever so close to the borderline with illegality if not crossing but somehow coming out looking clean. I would have no problem with an Elizabeth Dole type candidate who actually experienced legitimately running and improving a vast worldwide organization, like the Red Cross in her case, and has more intricate knowledge than just visiting countries as a first lady and shaking hands.

the only thing hillary is worried about is hillary. this election is nothing more than what politician can give the most away in socialized programs to morons who can’t see that the govt can’t give you anything until they take it from you first. i don’t know when we will start taking some self responsibility and do for the good of the country instead of themselves, but that would require sacrifice and liberals want you to sacrifice but not them. hillary is nothing short of a socialist. so if you want to pay 60 or 70% tax and have the govt telling you to wipe your nose go ahead and vote for her (or any other liberal for that matter). We can be just like France, or Maybe Mexico since they are annexing us more and more everyday.

If Hillary is elected as President It would be the worst thing that could happen to the United States since 911. I believe she is a very calculating & manipulative person & is not above silencing anyone that disagree’s with her.

Hillary is a dangerous, evil person. Anyone who cannot see this is a poor judge of character. Take a look at the YEARS of shady unscrouplous acts as Arkansas’s first lady and then again when Bill was President. She is cold and calculating, and is trying terribly hard to look like an every day person. One thing is obvious, she has the uncanny ability to dodge bad press just like her husband. For some reason the media loves them, and is biased to reporting only the positive on the Clintons.

This is to Fred Lendt’s earlier comment that Hillery is just setting the stage for Bill to run again in 4 years. Learn your history Bill can not be elected for President again, because, The Twenty-second Amendment of the United States Constitution sets a term limit for the President of the United States, providing that “No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice.
It doesn’t matter if the terms are consecutive or not, 2 is the max period.

By the way I will not vote for Hillery either just.

She is the scariest person alive, who is not a member of the Taliban or Al Qeda. She will drive our great country to socialist ruin. She is a commited Marxist and strongly beleives in cradle to grave government programs. As far as her sincerity, and regardless of her political positions, she is the most transparent and insincere human being to walk the face of the earth. The best news is, when she losses the primary, she will be relagated to the trash heap of political hacks and hopefully never heard from again. Her base will crumble and they can all live together in a commune in Oregon. They can use all the bo
