Ron Paul Signals to Supporters He’s Dropping Bid for Presidency

Border

WASHINGTON- GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul is hinting to supporters that he is ending his long-shot campaign for the presidency.

The Texas Republican congressman addressed supporters in a 7 1/2-minute video on his campaign Web site Thursday night and did not specifically say he was quitting the race.

He said that although victory in the conventional political sense is not available in the presidential race, many victories have been achieved due to the hard work and enthusiasm of his supporters.

He said that he hoped that one day he and his supporters could look back and say his campaign was a significant first step that signaled a change in direction for the country.

Paul said their job now was to plan for the next phase of their effort.

Do any of you realize this article was written on March 7th? It is a political ploy by the media (specifically Fox News). Did you know that one of George W. Bush’s cousins is high up at Fox News? Yes that is correct, the media tries to control everything. The Ron Paul campaign lives on. RON PAUL 2008!!! For freedom, and for the Constitution. Long live America!!!

I can tell you what went wrong, most people (except the smart ones) listen to only the liberal drive-by media. In case no one noticed ron paul had very little (if any at all) face time on the boob tube ( I mean that both and the sense that the Tv limits your perceptions of what really is out there and turns you into a boob and for the fact that a boob is all we see on anymore). I voted for Ron Paul in my states primary but was angered by the fact that no one (execpt for the people who really knew what he stood for) cared for what he said. >:( Yes sandra this country is falling at the seams and to be truthful with you all, it brings tears to my eyes.

I like Ron Paul.
A serious question….why do you think he can’t muster a larger percentage of votes?
Seriously, so many talk show hosts like him, you would think he would do better.
Maybe Americans just don’t want a government based on the true Constitution.
