It is so important to be able to express your thoughts and opinions to people, in this day and age, of people thinking that they can’t make a difference.
I believe that most Americans feel this way. I am so very passionate about my political candidates and the issues, but I also feel that in the end, I wonder if it really makes any difference HOW I feel. That is why we need more of the media and not just Fox News, to help the people get their feelings out and known.
Thank you Fox News, for always caring about( WE THE PEOPLE)’s views. I think God basically “directs” your network. Becky Simpson, Davey, Nebraska.
Wow - Hillary darkened Obama’s skin for an ad. Hmmm…wonder what the motivation of that was? To make him look “scary”? - her latest tactic. Maybe he ought to “photoshop” his next ad of her and put her in a …..skirt!
Everyone knows the real power lies within congress. The president can not do much of anything in the way of policies or “change” without the approval of congress. With that said, how do these candidates expect me to believe that they can make changes in government as president, when they all have had ample opportunity to do so as senators and didn’t.
The safety of Obama was discussed briefly and I would like to add that my main concern is for his safety also. However I feel that he might be harmed because he is black, but not because of hatred for blacks. I feel that it would be a terrorist act in order to attempt to set blacks against whites in this nation. I am sure that he has considered this and is taking proper steps to protect him and his family. I can only pray that he does.
Hopping to follow the US Primary results for Ohio & Texas on your web site, it is almost 9. 30 AM here in New Zealand & am trying to stay updated for these results while I am at work. I am unable to follow Fox News TV coverage while working so have logged into Fox Web, by the way I think your news cast is fantastic. I watch it every night & first thing in the morning here in NZ, please keep up the interesting & informative news coverage “I love it”.
The incorrect delegate count Fox News has been persistently misrepresenting for McCain is artificially INFLATED. McCain does NOT have your alleged, incorrect 1014 PLEDGED delegates as Fox misleads viewers/voters to think - in your overt attempt to dissuade, discourage and suppress voters who do NOT support McCain…
Many former Fox viewers have been so outraged, alientated by Fox disgraceful bias agenda exhibited from the get- go, we have STOPPED watching Fox, switched to CNN, which surprisingly has had more fair, balanced coverage far less biased than Fox of all the candidate’s - not just the candidate’s FOX ANNOINTED - as arrogantly as McCain’s contempuous disregard of voters this past weekend, too busy to waste his valuable time with “main street people” & his MORE IMPORTANT priority of entertaining his cadre of ole boy, well heeled, wealthy DC country club elitists to pick his VP running mate -
AS IF he were the nominee (he isn’t) - and pander to the media he can’t resist cozzying up to every chance he gets. THOSE are McCain’s priorities - message received LOUD & CLEAR,
voters don’t matter, he is not only clueless, out of touch and utterly wrapped up in the ivory tower the GOP hermetically seals iself in, he doesn’t give a damned.
The Republican party is going the way of the dinosaur, sooner rather than later. They did not listen over a year ago and still are DEAF to what Mike Huckabee has been telling them.
But then, Fox decided Huckabee was not viable, therefore to be trivialized and marginalized.
The disproportionate saturation of everything democratic incessantly bombarding viewers ad nauseum is bad enough…but for McCain to pass up what little coverage the media has relegated the republicans to by refusing to participate in a debate - instead choosing to spend the time at his vacation home with his big wig party buddies - underscores his contempuous superiority complex and bad judgment.
Fred Barnes dismissive disregard of main street is indicative of the mind set that has alientated so many from the GOP & likes of Barnes…the “base” WON’T rally round McCain…Independents certainly do not find McCain tolerable - never mind appealing, or at all inspiring. The gritted teeth, disengenuous wink followed by “my friends…” tactic of evading any questions he considers a waste of his important time, he knows better than anyone else, brags about his stubborness that is far worse than democrats deriding Bush for over eight years…he’d make a good Secretary of Defense, but not President.
Thanks Fox for the destruction and damage you have wrought throughout this endless dysfunctional process. Since You & the GOP have decided who you are trying to ram down voters throats as the nominee, why waste OUR taxpayer dollars bothering to hold the remaining 9 primaries??? IF McCain is so proud of the debacle of McCain Feingold and genuinely wants to cut spending - he should start by eliminating the millions primaries cost & just hold his coronation they way Russia just did.
Hopefully this day will settle the impending Democratic polarizing that Hillary and Bill, who are hell-bent on getting back into the White House at any (all) cost, are inflicting upon the party. I was a two-time Clinton supporter when Bill was in the White House. I have, however, lost respect for him. Day by day, respect has dwindled, as I watch Hillary blindly ignore the wishes of the people for her own ill-fated gain.
She should take note from George Bush, if you don’t do it right, then it will surely come back to bite you in the butt, Hillary! For the sake of the people and your own sake, stop while you have a sliver of dignity left Hillary. Your campaign reeks of desperation!!! You have done down-dog, dirty!!!!!!! In this world there is a law of reciprocity, you will reap what you sow!!! If you think you have been under attack in the past, continue on the path that you are on and you ain’t seen nothing yet! There is an old adage, God doesn’t like ugly! What you have done is ugly, Hillary. All the ugliness and dirt that was initiated in the campaign, Hillary did it. Shame on you, Hillary!!!
I am a 27 year old Texas voter (and Obama supporter). I have found that in some polling places, the persons in charge are giving out false information. Polling place officials are telling voters that they do not need to come back to vote twice, that their vote has already been counted. If I were not an informed voter, I may have believed this but I am aware that only 75% of the delegates are awarded based on the primary vote. Because I have urged many of my friends to vote (many of whom never have voted) they called me for answers. I explained it to them (as best I could) but they were a bit discouraged in the voting process because of the misinformation.
I have noticed media bias promoting Barak Obama. The funny thing is that most of the talk about Barak Obama on the Net is all bad. This is the 21st century and public oppinion is formed through communication and millions communicate online. Barak can spend all of the money he wants on advertisement but the facts are the facts. The media is second rate next to the dialogue of millions chatting and blogging on the web. In all actuallity it is the peoples communication on the web that drives the media not the other way around. Today we have seen that the influence of the mass media is not as great as the power of people to express their views in an open forum via the internet. Good luck Hillary most of us are counting on you for Honest Change. Not Baraks Lie About Change tactics.
