During the Michigan Primary, many non-Hillary Democrats chose to cross-over and vote for McCain in the Republican race instead of “uncommitted”. These voters will be able to place 2 votes if Michigan is granted a “do-over”; once in the Republican primary, and once in the Dem “do-over”. How can this be legal and uncontested?

Best Regards,
Mark

I have a solution to the Michigan, Florida problem. Howard Dean should reduce the total number of delegates needed to nominate their person running for president by these two states. The DNC knew that the delegates would not count at convention. Why include their delegate numbers in the total of votes needed? This would decrease 313 votes for nomination. This should have been done at the start of the campaign. This would alleviate the need for a recount.

PS. We should have all states vote in primaries the same day, like April 15. Why do we vote different times and use different voting machines when we all vote for the president? It seems like we should all be unified to the same date and same machines to get the most accurate results. Bonnie

senator Mc Cain has principals, he has taking a stand that is unpopular, if needed he said “we will keep troops in Iraq for 100 years”. I remember 1970 while in nam we had activity lots of it, one year later I was back and things were becoming normal, quiet. How many died after we left for supporting us? Lets not copy the cowards of the congress and president of 1973. For that reason I am staying with the Soldier, Mc Cain.

ALTHOUGH IT WOULD PROBABLY BE UNTHOUGHT AND UNHEARD OF BY THE HIGHER BRASS OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY I FEEL THAT A GOOD RUNNING MATE FOR JOHN MC CAIN WOULD BE JOE LIEBERMAN. PRESENTLY LISTED IN THE SENATE AS A VOTING LIBERAL HIS QUALIFICATIONS ARE EXCELLENT. HE AND JOHN HAVE SEEN EYE TO EYE ON MANY ISSUES AND VOTES WHILE SERVING IN THE SENATE AND IS A GOOD FRIEND OF JOHN. I FEEL IT WOULD GIVE JOHN MC CAIN THE THINGS HE NEEDS MAINLY A YOUNGER VP AND SOMEONE HE WOULD HAVE TRUST IN TO FOLLOW HIS POLICY AND THE DESIRES, SOMETHING HE HOLDS SO CLOSE, IF SOMETHING UNFORTUNALE HAPPENNED TO HIM. SPEAKING AS A REGISTERED REPUBLICAN, BUT HAVING VOTED FOR THE PAST 56 YEARS AS AN INDEPENDENT VOTER, I FEEL A MC CAIN LIEBERMAN TICKET WOULD DO THE BEST FOR OUR COUNTRY AN UNITE IT AGAIN.

McCain is the only hope for America. There are too many young people who don’t know about the threats we had in the world back in the 1940’s. With the Naxis and the Japanese trying to conquer the world, killing millions of Jews, bombing Pearl Harbor and their quest of Europe and the Pacific. These threats were nothing compared to the threats of radical Islamism that the world has today. He is the only person who understands this - thank God we may be able to elect this great protector. If we don’t God help us.

Being a Republican, I did vote for McCain. I think that McCain should talk about himself much more and less about the security of this nation, which I agree with him. I still don’t know how he stands with the illigal imimigrants and what about the border fence between Mexico and U.S.A.. I also hope that a list will be made out and questions out of the list will be asked who ever the Democratic nominee is. More exposure of McCain whould not hurt. Thank you.

The DNC established its rules and regulations ragardin the Michigan and Florida prinmary elections. They must stand firm and clearly demonstrate that there are consequences for violating established rules and regulations… in this case, imposed laws within the Democratic Party. To change the rules in mid stream is just another clear signal that there are no absolutes and no consequences when it comes to violating the “rules of the game.” We see this same trend in professional sports, in the Boardrooms of corporate America, even in our homes. If we keep this us, we might as well close the courts and open the cells at our prisons. We have already left open our boarders for those who would ignor the rules of the Land. I sincerely urge both major political parties to adhear to the rules. After all, we are about to elect a president. That should mean something.

I do not believe that the other 48 states want the headline ” Florida and Michigan Swing the election for Clinton”. I Live in Florida and Bill Nelson will do anything for Hillary as he wants to be VP.
