Is the Head of the DNC - the position Howard Dean hold a paid position.?.If so, does it not make since that this individual should have insight AND FORESIGHT??
The party decided to strip 2 critical states of thier delagates, and now need them.
It should be interesting to see how the brilliant Howard Dean wiggles through this.
He was elected by the party.- What a tragedy!

If John McCain would choose J.C. Watts as his running mate, I would donate and work for his election. J.C. Watts would balance the ticket, bring conservatives back into the election, and be a great presidential candidate in the future. If McCain fails the party, J.C. could be the ‘12 candidate and thus be reminder to McCain to remain loyal to the conservative party; otherwise, goodbye John in 2012.
McCain needs to do something unpredictable. Not something stupid or dumb, but something unpredictable. He is and has been too predictable. He will not win being dull and predictable.
Other than an occasional explosion at a reporter (which for him is predictable), he is too dull and predictable.
There is zero difference between all of them! Back channel denials to Canada about changing NAFTA, in spite of what was being touted to the American Voters. The “experience factor”….. as what?? White house wife? They will all say whatever needs to be said to win a particular state or position. We have lost our government due the the apathy of the people. They are more interested in American Idol than American Liberty. We are slaves of Corporate crooks and Corporate Campaign money. The corporate CEOs are running businesses and American jobs into the hinterlands of the world while receiving exorbitant salaries. No one understands the difference between the Free Enterprise System and the Capitalist System. I’m saddened for the greed of our leaders and government.
Why is the media overlooking such an obvious story here. The governors of Fla, and Michican are huge Clinton backers and now those two states are talking a do over. Coincidence, we think not. This is dirty, back room, clinton type politics at its gutter worst. If this would be two republican govs trying to get this when the states broke the law to begin with, the media would be all over the hypocrisy of it. Get with it before Fla and Michican do the illegal and let Clinton win, which is the ONLY reason they want it.
November Vote:
I’m a registered Repuplican, and it’s a good chance I won’t vote for President since I started voting, back in the 60’s.My 1st vote was for Barry Goldwater,so you can see why I probably won’t vote for John McCain.
This is for Britt Hume and his panel.
Once again I listened to a discussion on the seating of Florida and Michigan delegates at the Democractic Convention. This issue assumes that the Democractic primary process is a democratic process. There is nothing democractic (given normal usage of the word in a political context) about the primary process. There are elections. There are caucuses. There are elections/caucuses. There are super delegates. When the delegates assemble in Denver, they will have gotten there in a multitude of ways. The Democractic Party should let Florida and MIchigan decide their delegates in anyway they want, as they have let the other states do.

Well as a conservative i will hold my nose and vote for liberal McCain if Hillary would win i would vote for her in a protest vote against the GOP for giving us a blue blood like this. And Obama his policies are nuts he would make jimmy carter look like Reagan i think he is very dangerous for our country. But one thing i can say about McCain is that i was hearing someone on the radio questioning his war record saying that he broke his arms on purpose well that is stupid .The reason that he cant use his arms today is because they hung him from the ceiling and tortured him that one thing i will come to his defense on i will not tolerate that we can disagree about politics but he is a war hero no questions about it and i am proud of him on that.
The democrats have problem. Sen. Obama is not ready for this office and the country is not ready for Sen. Clinton in such a powerful position. We need leadership, someone who’ll seek clear direction and has the ability to guide and influence people. Neither has these qualities. One can speak in platitudes and the other wants to manage by fear. Both styles will bring only conflict. No, we need genuine leadership.
Not since 1960 has America elected a Senator to the Presidency. This year we will elect a senator to the highest office in the land. Unfortunately we do not have a worthy candidate from either party. Although President Bush is experiencing very low approval ratings, Congress is experiencing even lower ratings. And yet America is going to elect a president from that pool. I can’t wait for 2012, provided we survive this “Senator President.”
