The Democratic Primary system is a convuluted process. My question: What would be the delegate totals for Clinton and OBama if the Republican primary system rules were applied to their primary election results? i.e. How many delegates would Clinton have? How many would OBama have?

Curiously,

With all due respect to the intellectual capability of those involved, the creators of the democratic primary delegate system must have been using their heads as suppositories. Just how much more complicated could they have made that system if they really tried? Another thing I wanted to put my two cents in on is the prospective VP selection for McCain; I would suggest Jindal or Thompson as they would be a strong addition to McCain in the general election.

I just realized that I was being sucked into the idea that the primary votes discounted in Florida and ??? is a Constitutional right for the people.

Primary voting is a contraption of parties that have gained too much comfort and power, not a right nor is it valuable unless you are a great gambler! :)

I don’t want, nor do I need to vote more than once for a President. What would be wrong with just voting once for anyone we want? What does the Constitution say my rights are?

Since 2025 delegates needed for the Democratic nomination include FL and MI, why not reduce the 2025 delegates needed to 2025 minus the Fl and MI delagates.

THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY HAS SUPER DELEGATES. A NUMBER OF THESE SUPER DELEGATES ARE ELECTED CONGRESSMEN & CONGRESSWOMEN. THIS A CLEAR VIOLATION OF THE SEPARATION OF POWERS DOCTRINE OF THE U.S. CONSTITUTION. CHECK IT OUT!

All 3 candidates, McCain, Clinton, and Obama, have all those years combined service in the Senate, but not one of them has been known to keep introducing bills to fix the Social Security system. Why do they only bring up the subject when it’s election time? If you can’t fix something that is broken while you are a member of Congress, why should we believe you can fix it as President?

If the democratic primaries and caucuses were winner take all, what would the delagate count be for Obama and Clinton?

We keep hearing voting statistics concerning age, gender, income, race, weather etc. Someone please tell us how the muslims are voting.

I know that many Republicans in Mississippi voted for Hillary Clinton today.
How many were there. Do you have a number?

With all the commotion about the Dems screwed up proportional system, I’ve not heard anyone comment on the movements in [I believe these are correct]: California, Colorado, and others, to do the exact same thing with the Electoral Votes during the General Election in November.

If you think 2001 was a mess, wait until that happens!!!!

Anyone there want to address this?
