The chaos in the Democrat primary is a very good example of why Democrats aren’t intelligent enough or competent enough to be in control of our government…on ANY level.
Since EVERYONE is talking about Florida and Michigan delegates, I find it strange that I have not heard the entire truth about this. For instance, in Michigan, Obama COULD have put his name on the ballot. He chose NOT TO. Therefore, he should be satisfied to get the other votes. As for Florida, Obama campaigned on cable television, against party rules. He should be awarded some delegates, but some should be taken away for violating party rules. Not given to Clinton, just taken away. This would solve all of the problems of the Michigan and Florida votes. I truly wish that someone would report the facts, not just pieces of it.
Anyone who thinks this election isn’t about race or gender is kidding them selfs. Two weeks ago Hannity & Colmes read the tenets of a church that Obama belongs to I was shocked to hear that they stated the members were to only support the “black family, the black church the black race only” etc.. If a white candidate had belonged to a church or organization that had the same ideological beliefs but insert the word “white”everyone would be screaming from the roof tops that he/she was a racist. To my knowledge after that show nothing else was said about Obama and his affliation with that church. Hmmm double standard??? And gender a woman who is tuff and is strong in her beliefs is looked upon as a you know the B word. Unlike her male conterpart. So yes RACE & GENDER is what this election is about unfortunately. I will be casting my vote for the best candidate one who has experience and the interest and welfare of the American people Hillary Clinton.
Martha. Regarding the comments from GF. There is no condemnation necessary from HRC. GF’s comments are right on target. Does BO really think he would be doing so well if he were not black? Does he truly believe that if he were white, he would be winning the popular vote in Mississippi by such a large margain? Did you hear BO telling voters in Mississippi not to vote for him just because he is black–I don’t think so! The exit polls are clearly revealing that a large majority of blacks are voting for BO because it is the “best hope they have ever had to elect a black candidate.” He is getting votes for the pure reason he is black so I fail to comprehend what is wrong with GF making the same observation. Why do people tippy toe around the obvious truth?

Geraldine Ferraro’s comment about Barack Obama should not have been made because it cannot be proven. She has insulted not just the senator but also the voters by characterizing why people put Barack where he is. There is no parallel universe where we can see how a nonblack Obama would do.
As long as Senator Clinton disavowed the comment, Ferraro need not be fired. She is a fundraiser, not a strategist or the conscience of the campaign.
Churchill said it best: “An empty taxicab drove up and Clement Atlee got out.” Just substitute Barack Obama and you have today.
Young Voters Not Current On Facts
2008 Presidential Debates
I live in Wyoming and I’m discouraged with the young voters within this state.
I have asked students (mostly black) who are able to vote, who they
are voting for and why they are voting for the person of their choice.
Most of them say they are voting for Obama because, he’s “black”
and that having him as a president would be history in the
making. When I ask what they know about Obama and
what he stands for they are unsure and only refer to
the war’s of terror. I think that Hillary Clinton and
her committee should restore the truth about
foreign policy and current world and
national problems we all have
suffered since Bush and his
administration engaged
us in during his time
in the white house.
I understand that the democratic fight for presidential candidate is between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. When reported it’s always Obama vs THE Clintons. Other than wife of a two term president, six years(?) in the Senate, will Hillary ever stand on her own merit? Which are what?
I just heard Mickael Baron trying to explain how the delegates in MS would be awarded. Very confusing. The State of Texas has not figured out their results yet. How in the world can these people administer a health care system.
With all the latest controversy between Clinton and Obama, John McCain’s comments seem to get lost in the drama. Yet when asked about running against the democratic nominee in the upcoming election, I was shocked to hear him say that “he hadn’t even thought about it.” Shouldn’t that be something that should at least run across his mind now and then? Is he, underprepared, arrogant or just plain dumb?
