Bill Clinton Heads to North Carolina to Tap Old Political Support on Wife’s Behalf
Hillary Clinton is spending Easter weekend at home in Chappaqua, N.Y., taking three days off before heading into the final weeks of primary campaigning, with must-win Pennsylvania in her sights.
But the New York senator’s campaign is not on total weekend hiatus. The candidate’s husband, former President Bill Clinton, is spending Friday in North Carolina, another key state on the shrinking nomination calendar. He’ll be holding two events there, one with veterans and another with senior citizens.
There are 115 delegates up for grabs on May 6 in North Carolina. It’s the second-biggest remaining prize next to Pennsylvania, where Clinton and Barack Obama will fight for 158 delegates on April 22.
Local news reports indicate Bill Clinton will be tapping old political ties in the Tar Heel State. Clinton state campaign director Ace Smith said the former president’s 1992 and ‘96 campaign networks are still strong, according to WRAL.com.
“You’re going to see them a lot, and you’re going to see lots of surrogates from all over the country and you’re going to see an awful lot of homegrown support,” Smith said.
North Carolina also is the home state of John Edwards, who holds the last big Democratic endorsement up for grabs following Bill Richardson’s defection to the Obama camp on Friday. There were no reports that the former president and former vice presidential candidate planned to meet on Friday.

Billary has a lot of gonads to appear with vets after he decimated the military.
SEMPER FI.
Watch for signs of a botox treatment when Hillary emerges after the weekend. It was fairly obvious after Super Tuesday that she’d had something done. The thing is…men running for president at age 60 or more don’t need to have plastic surgery done to look gone on the campaign trail (look at McCain, for example). They also don’t need a new suit (pantsuit) every day. The media should do a news segment on what her clothes, jewelry, and hairstyling alone is costing the campaign. Maybe that’s why she can’t gain on Obama, lol.
Hey Bill!! They’ve got awesome Cheeseburgers at Cookout!!!
These times are so crucial that we need two brains to help us direct this country, our allies and even the rest of the world into a safer yet a better haven where peace and prosperity prevail with less wars and intimidation.
This is my comment to convince the Americans today to vote for Clinton in November, 2008 so we all could live in peace , harmony and cared fo by two experienced human beings.
I am a republican and still believe in every word I typed in this statement.

HILARY CLINTON SHOULD BE THE CANDIDATE FOR THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY. SO WE CAN COMPETE WITH MCCAIN.
