Actress From Clinton’s 3 A.M. Ad Strikes Back, This Time on Obama’s Side
A Washington state teen who weeks ago objected to a controversial Hillary Clinton ad that used stock footage of her from when she was a child has come back with an ad of her own. And this time she’s on Barack Obama’s side.
Casey Knowles, who was one of the sleeping children shown in the Clinton ad that asked voters who they wanted answering the phone at 3 a.m. in a crisis, apparently is an ardent Obama backer.
Now her new YouTube ad, posted on Obama’s Web site, urges voters to “reject the politics of fear that Sen. Clinton uses to drum up votes” and support the Illinois senator. Clinton’s ad, which aired ahead of the Texas primary, was used to raise doubts about Obama’s experience and judgment and was widely credited with boosting her performance in the contest.
In the new ad, Knowles says she was supporting Obama before Clinton’s commercial aired and that she objected to the way it was produced.
Clinton “wanted to scare you into voting for her,” she said — by tinting the stock footage of her sleeping from eight years ago and adding a “scratchy voice.”
At the end of the ad, she says, “I’m Casey Knowles and I approve this message, and not the other one.”

I have one more thing to say to Casey …… We really do not need Hillary to scare us - I think the thousands of families that lost their loved ones Sept 11 can agree with me on this one.
Well, JAMES… I believe you are a liar. I don’t believe you have ever been a Republican.
If you have…You are the biggest idiot alive. After all you have heard about this racial Bigot,
If you vote for him you are equal or worse for being stupid and ignorant.
Why are you people blaming Obama for her supporting him? He didn’t do this. Hillary could not even control what Slick Willie was doing in the White House…I hardly think she is qualitifed to run my household, nevermind a country.
Okay, first of all, Obama is only using this tactic so he can try and gain what he lost to Hillary because she is gaining momentum thanks to Pennsylvania. Obama is afraid that he might lose all of his momentum and so what New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson endorsed Obama, it means nothing. New Mexico went to Hillary therefore the governor is misrepresenting what his state wants. Hillary is more than likely to win PA, I’m voting for her, because she has what it takes to run this country. Obama said he has already given up on PA which shows how weak he is and how he is just going to run to the next state to try and gain support. Obama, just give up. There’s too much controversy around you and each time you try and clear it up, something else arises. You’re in way too deep.
Who cares?
By all means lets take political directions from someone who probably spends her time watching the Disney Channel and text messaging her BFF Jill.
James, I seriously doubt you are a Republican or ever have been. Bush has made a mockery of the White House? Bill Clinton defiled that office like no other. Just because you don’t like the decision Bush has made as Commander and Chief does not mean he has made a mockery. You liberal hacks are a danger to our country and have no understanding of the world we live, or you just dont care. Stay in your bubble, dont try to wrap it around the rest of us, we have a country to defend against an enemy like we have never seen! Kelly…I agree…GOD HELP US!
I agree with Nita, she or her parents were paid for the stock footage. She has no legal right to say how it is used. I think it is wrong of her to protest it’s use. She is looking for fame or money. She can support whoever she wants, but to say the Clinton camp was wrong is, well, just wrong.
Roh,
What Money? The footage was of her as a child taken back when Hillary was the first lady…. I sure the company that owned the footage received the money.
Can’t believe her and her parents would back a racist candidate. Her parents have put their own child in front of the camera and exposed her to all this. I suppose it is all about money.
They deserve what is coming to them
