Please add my name as a supporter of Rev. Wright. Every issue Rev. Wright spoke about in that “special sermon” need to be address. Some issues are difficut for some people to face however, the history of the savagery of some Americans against other people have to be comfronted and dealt with. We have waited a long time…….Thank you Rev. Wright….much love.

the actions of traitor pfleger has completely reversed my 70+ years of faith

where was he when all the bishops buried the molestations of the young. he apparently supported them, for obviously he did not resign in protest.

I am appalled to see a Catholic Church allow Jeremiah Wright to give a benediction. Someone who can say “God damn America” has no place in a Catholic place of worship. The pope should consider excummunication of the Rev. Michael Pfleger.

Poor Fox, you can’t find better news to post? Why is this news anyway? How about some fairness? What kind of home or homes did Falwell live in? Hagee? Parsley? If Obama wins the presidency, I hope he never appears on Fox, unless to give a Bill Clinton like interview. That way Fox will never have had a president interviewed by Fox News Sunday. I bet that if Obama had appeared regularly on Fox, your coverage would have been much milder.

I am disappointed to hear that Rev. Wright was greeted with a standing ovation by those gathered at St. Sabina’s to celebrate the birthday of someone as well respected as Maya Angelou. Have the attendees at the event not heard Wright’s sermons where he made blatant false statements encouraging his parishioners to join him in his racist views of the white community? His racist views are one thing his outright false charges against the government are another and far worse.

Rev. Wright has the right to express his racist opinions and his views that America is evil. I do not believe he has the right to use his position as Pastor of a large congregation to express falsehoods to influence the opinions and attitudes of those who rely on him for moral leadership. It is very disturbing that he should be greeted with encouragement and approval.

I keep hearing that we are being fed short sound bytes that do not accurately portray Rev. Wright’s message in context. I challenge anyone to explain in what context the following points would be acceptable: the government created the AIDS virus to harm the black community, and the government promotes the sale of drugs to the black community to harm them. In my view the intention of these comments is to foster distrust of the American establishment, especially the white community among his parishioners especially the youth who take his commentary as fact and trust that he would not mislead them. Sermon’s such as this perpetuate the division between the races, they do nothing to provide spiritual guidance and appropriate moral guidance.

It would be helpful if Fox would broadcast the sermons in their entirety so that we can all witness the full context of Rev. Wright’s sermons.
