Why let facts get in the way of a great story?

There are plenty of things that have ACTUALLY gone wrong in the US health system, I don’t see why politicians always think they need an incredible dramatic story to make their point, especially since incredible dramatic stories almost never turn out to be as simple as they first appear.

I’d like to see a solution to all the emergency rooms closing in southern California. They can’t deny medical care to illegal aliens (which makes the Ohio story even more unbelievable), but the hospitals don’t get reimbursed for the care.

Apparently, Sen. Clinton was so traumatized by Bosnian sniper fire that she forgot to have the story fact-checked before repeating it.

She lies so much and so easily that she now cannot differentiate between a lie and the truth. They do not care about checking the story or they would have.

If you read the entire article in the New York Times, then you would have read that she was RETELLING a story told to her by the sheriff deputy in Meigs County, OH. He had heard the story from one of the woman’s relatives. He understood that the woman died of complications from a stillbirth after being turned away for not putting $100 upfront. And, that is what he relayed to Senator Clinton. So stop saying she lied or even made-up the story. How many of the stories used by the other candidates are true anyway? I bet alot of people that these candidates come across on the campaign trail tell some really tall tales just to see if they get repeated on the stump. It is just unfortunate that Hillary is scrutinized for every little thing that she does. Most news organizations are so in love with Obama that if he said the sky was green and the grass was blue, they would never questioned it.

Anyway, this guy made a ton of money while he was young, invested smart, and got really lucky. He’s retired now, and spends his time doing whatever he wants. Sometimes, he’ll go to the bank, take out a bunch of cash, and just give it to people on the street - “spreading the wealth,” literally. He’ll give a couple thousand dollars to anyone he comes across. And he has a German Shepherd named Reggie that gets to eat ice cream. This man, though, gave me $2500 when I was on a work trip in Eugene.

According to Bill’s comment, If I made up a story about a Ford I had that the shop refused to fix and then the car blew up, that would be ok to prove that Ford has poor quality and service???
