My bets are on Rev. Wright to blow the lid off Barak on his (Barak's) drug use and possible involvement in the murder of the Chior director Donald Young (who was Gay.)
See Larry Sinclair's site to see more of the story. This is TOO hot. I have my money on Wright to release the story to further smear OBAMA!!
The only way to head this off is for OBAMA to come out with the story first! EITHER WAY IT WILL COME OUT!!

For 20 Years he has been like family to him. Does this mean he has only just started to Hate America and White Americans, or has Obama suddenly changed his views??

I still find it troubling that Obama could not or would not reject these inane and incredibly stupid statements the first time he heard them. By avoiding the hard decision to fully reject and deny Wright ligitimacy he has only confounded his position and lent additional fodder to his distractors.
Not only has he hurt his own campaign but contrary to what Wright might think it has polarized people once again to ones race and created exactly the opposite effect Obama has been campaigning for, change.
In my mind, Obama and or his "people" should have seen this coming. Instead, he has shown himself to be naive and less than capable when dealing with those that would use him to further their own agenda.

Freedom of speech. it goes to show that Obama was not in church on some of these sermons Rev. Wright said so himself. But why is is it ok for the Catholic Priest to molest those boys and the congregation sat there for decades and did nothing to stop it. Talk about double standard

Marie1,

Your ignorance floors me. At no time has the Catholic church EVER preached molestation. The facts are that molestation did occur. However, the people sitting in the pews were not being preached to regarding the justification of molestation. It's the difference between knowingly accepting actions and learning about actions after the fact.

Whatever Rev Wright's views are on the political and national landscape of America, they should be kept out of the political campaign for President of the United States. We often see protests and hear discussion about the separation of church and state as expressed in the Constitution. The same rules should apply to our elective process. Whatever people's religious views are, they should not be used as a weapon in either direction for political purposes. The framers of the Constitution intended that the state not inhibit citizens in their practice of a chosen religion. I think they would also condemn a religious leader who tried to use the political process to further their religious agenda.

I am so sorry for Rev Wright. He is so confused on what God is all about. Its not about color. Its not about your church. Is is about the condition of your soul. The whole Word of God talks about our spiritual condition. God knows in our flesh we are a mess. Our only hope is Christ.
When our Lord talks of the oppressed, he is speaking to all of us. Without a personal encounter with Christ we will stay oppressed, with Christ we have liberation. The Bible calls it being saved.
Eternal life with Christ. It does not make our flesh perfect, but it does our souls.

Rev Wright, preach the Word! Not as you want to see it, but as God Amighty wants you to preach it. Anything else are just words, hateful words, words of the flesh, man's words.
I am praying for you, that you will have your personal encounter with Christ. Then you will have a message to preach on Sunday morning. One that is for all, not just a few!!!

Veronica,

Your point of view is precisely the problem with the black community. If you believe black kids need to listen to and absorb conspiracy theories about the government deliberately infecting blacks with AIDs, how we are responsible for 9/11, that military service gives one carte blanche patriotism for the rest of one's life regardless of what they may say, that whites deliberately keep blacks down, you need to seriously rethink your position. While I would have agreed with you 50 years ago that no black could rise to the highest office in the land, times have changed. This isn't the 1950s. Racism is no longer a major problem in contemporary American society, for most of it has been removed from the mainstream years ago. Anybody can do whatever they want if they persevered long enough. It is time to stop blaming others for your personal problems and be personally accountable for your own plight. Truly, the black community needs to have some serious introspection and rethink the widely held mindset of the white man being at fault for absolutely every ill in the black community. You and many others would be wise to stop listening to race baiters such as Wright, Sharpton, Jackson, etc, and start listening to people who preach personal responsibility and getting out of the blinding veil of false victimhood, such as Bill Cosby.

Edward you maybe right but the Reverend Wright is correct on the ideas. If FOX is true about fair and balanced prove his comments wrong on the air. Because when you look at the History Channel and see how we "American's" sold weapon's to both sides in the IRAN/IRAQ war. How we were prepared to use thousands barrels of nerve gas on Japan before the BOMB, I do think we are capable of many questionable and evil things to better ourselves.

I'm sick and tired of seeing and hearing Rev. Wright on tv.
He's not the one running for President, Obama is. How silly the network look trying to make whatever the rev. has said or done a reflection of Obama's views. That's like saying my priest or pastor scolding the congregation for living in sin by living together in a common law arrangement reflecting badly on me. Rev. Wright is eating this all up. The media is fueling this non-issue and the only people who are buying it are those already opposed to Obama. I admre Obama for staying on the high road which contracts greatly with his opponent.
If McCain wins in November, it'll be largely due to Clinton's low blow attacks on Obama. If she can't be President, she'd rather have McCain than Obama. If the lady had any class, she'd step aside and support Obama. Who knows, if he becomes President, he'll probably appoint her as the U.S. diplomat to Bosnia!

Rev. Wright, Rev. Hagee. Obama deliberately distanced himself from Wright during his campaign and the "Maverick" sought out the support of the Anti-Catholic Hagee. Wake-up America. Eight-years of the Bush man. Let's not make it 4 more of the "Gelding".

Possession is 9/10ths of the law. Mr. Obama's book title was borrowed from a Wright sermon, which would suggest that he subscribes, to some degree, to the doctrine of the church and the anti-white rhetoric of its pastor. For 20 years he knowingly and unapologetically followed, studied and served a man who he now says he must distance himself from. Seriously, this can mean only 1 of 3 things: 1. Mr. Obama is so stupid that he just figured out his pastor is racist. 2.He thinks you're stupid enough to believe he just figured it out. 3.He's a bold face liar.

I'm gonna go with 2 & 3 what do you think?

OBAMA SPENT 20 YEARS WITH WRIGHT AND LIED ABOUT IT.

OBAMA HAS RUN HIS ENTIRE CAMPAIGN ON LIES. FINALLY THE MEDIA IS REPORTING THE TRUTH. IS IT TOO LATE? WHAT ELSE IS HE STILL HIDING?

REMEMBER — PELOSI WANTS TO BE THE FIRST FEMALE PRESIDENT! SHE AND OBAMA, ALONG WITH HIS ANTI-AMERICAN FRIENDS, WILL DESTROY OUR COUNTRY.

THE DNC HAS WORKED OUT A “DEAL” FOR OBAMA TO GIVE PART OF HIS CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY! WHAT ARE THEY OFFERING OBAMA IN RETURN? THE SUPER-DELEGATES?

VOTE HILLARY!

Wonder what Dr. Wright thinks about the black pastor, James David Manning. He is the minister of the ATLAH church in Harlem and tells it like it is. See the video at http://youtube.com/user/ATLAHWorldwide

I have to say one more thing. Christians are supposed to be a reflection of Christ. We are supposed to reflect love, tolerance and patience. We are supposed to make all people feel welcome when they are around us and we are supposed to be colorblind. But I have not seen anything at all in the J Wright messages. I don;t hear him preaching how to grow in the Lord and live a Christian life. I hear things that should make anyone angry!!! As they say in the south " thems fighten words". what I hear is a man pitching what sells and it isn't the truth. Now he needs his 15 minutes of glory and he has not said or done one thing to further the cause of Christ. I do not hear Christ glorified - I hear O Bama and J. Wright glorified. I do not hear the truth - just lies designed to insight! I just hear the cash register - cha chang.
