Indianapolis Star Endorses Clinton

The Indianapolis Star endorsed Sen. Hillary Clinton for president Friday just four days before the Democratic primary in Indiana, praising her “years of high-level experience” as a senator, which have left her “well prepared for the rigors of the White House.”

Editors at the Star, who called Clinton “tough, experienced and realistic,” contrasted her with her opponent, Sen. Barack Obama, whose “inexperience in high office is a liability,” they wrote.

“Clinton offers a clear-eyed view of the way things are,” they wrote. “Her depth of knowledge is remarkable.”

The endorsement from the Star, the largest newspaper in Indiana, could be a boon for Clinton, who already leads in polling ahead of Tuesday’s primary.

A RealClearPolitics average of polls released Thursday shows Clinton with a 6 percent lead in Indiana. Clinton has been gaining momentum since her victory in the Pennsylvania primary April 22, which she won by nearly 10 percent.

Prabhakar,

I agree with you 100%. He would be worst president if he gets elected. I would vote for McCain if Obama is nominee. I can take four more years of McCain. Obama does not discuss solutions of problems this nation is facing. I haven’t heard him taking questions from audience. He is nothing but poilitician cheerleader!!

Experience? Presidents Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy, Harry S. Truman and Franklin D. Roosevelt had accomplished little, if anything, politically before ascending to the Presidency. Each of them had little to no experience whatsoever; but yet, these great men are four of the finest presidents this country has ever had. Yet, President James Buchanan who, like Hillary, had over 20 years of political experience, as history has shown us, was the worst president ever. Experience means nothing.

Also, Hillary could not even figure out how to operate a gas pump or get java from a coffee machine. Hello?

How anybody can vote for a power hungry Women and a Liar to boot and as for her experience she does not know what friendly fire is plus the the fact she could not control her Husband, and did she not vote for the War with Iraq so this proves she does not have experience needed.

That’s understandable since the media has been giving Mrs. Clinton the accolades all week while continuing to keep the Wright and bitter issues to the forefront.

How about some fairness folks–I would like to be informed on the Paul vs. Clinton “campaign fraud case” going on in California. This goes to the honesty, integrity, and character of the candidate. In addition, the media has also not brought to the publics attention that the clinton campaign was involved in Caftagate. Even recently, Canada newspapers reported that one of Clintons co-chairs told a group of businessmen not to worry about NAFTA (paraphrased). Do you not have investigative reporters or are you just covering up to get the democratic candidate elected that you know is beatable once all the stuff does come out?

This woman has proved herself untrustworthy in addition to being a liar.
She is totally incapable of serving as President. This country has seen
enough of both Clintons.

Okay lets say Hillary wins the nomination, is that when the press will begin to cover the story of Paul v Clinton so that the democratic candidate will be obliterated?
Will Hillary be able to be commander and chief from a jail cell?

I THINK a tuff CLINTON is just what we need to so solve the many problems our country is facing both DOMESTICALLY and in the FOREIGN Areana. I rember another great lady who had an abrasive Personality Who wasn’t particlarly well liked but who is now given credit by both friend and foe alike. For the prosperity now enjoyed by the BRITS none other the the IRON LADY MAGI THATCHER. I think HILLARY would do the same for us in the USA
