Poll: Majority of Voters Approve of Obama’s Handling of Wright

WASHINGTON  — Most voters think Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has done a good job handling the controversy surrounding his longtime pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, according to a poll released Sunday.

In a CBS News/New York Times poll, 60 percent of voters — and 68 percent of Democratic primary voters — said they approved of the way Obama handled the situation.

At a press conference in Washington last Monday, Wright praised Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan and reiterated his beliefs that that the U.S. government may have developed the AIDS virus to infect the black community and that it had invited the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. Obama denounced the remarks the next day.

Three-quarters of voters polled said Wright’s statements had not changed their opinion of Obama.

And a majority of those polled — 56 percent — said the news media have spent too much time covering the controversy.

The poll was conducted among a random sample of 671 adults, including 283 Democratic primary voters, from May 1-3. The margin of sampling error was plus or minus 4 percentage points for the whole group, plus or minus 5 percentage points for the Democrats.

That’s a lie - most people think and absolutely know that he did it for political gain - it was so obvious that he didn’t denounce this nut the first time around or the 2nd time but the third time when he saw his ratings dropping - well I got news for you Obama, your done. You are one of them.

Of course! Consider who performed the Poll! CBS/New York Times: the two largest BO Supporters in the Media! Of course this has had an effect on BO, why else has he been dropping in the polls, do you really think that many people like Hillary?

I am happy to see that the american people are more concerned about positive ways to improve our country than they are about divisive and negative people and press coverage. lets dig more into the issues.

THE AMERICAN PEOPLE DESERVE NO LESS!!!

Bammer lied - said we were all wrong about Wright. Said he couldn’t disavow him. Then said, Oh, you were right about him after all and I will throw him out of the plane. Not only is he a disengenuous liar, but he is disloyal to lifetime friends for political reasons.

He lacks the veracity and the character to run my country.

Finally, get over it people. It’s a false concern.

On the radio this morning within 30 seconds, I once again heard how appalled Barrack is about Rev Wright’s comments and how he does not follow or care about the polls. Two lies in 30 seconds not bad, but it does not seem to matter.

Wright has not changed my mind about Obama. He merely confirms what a great number of Americans have know about Mr. Obama for some time. He is an inexperienced lightweight hard leftist who certainly lacks the judgment to hold office.

Obama is a member of the Trinity Congregation that applauds Wright’s racial and anti-American tirades. Obama as Presudent would never be allowed to be race neutral by the people demanding race based initiatives.

Why should voters care? After all, what harm can listening to 20+ years of anti-American Pulpit Propaganda do? The bottom line is, American voters want a Socialist America, I say let them learn by their mistakes.
