I think Hillary Clinton should follow the example of Joe Lieberman when he lost the election and…..run Independent. It would keep me from voting for John McCain.

I’ve just read a lot of statements posted here and as I suggested in my first posting, Hillary supporters will end up either not voting or voting for McCain. As if support is not already going to be high for McCain, Obama without Clinton has zero chance of being the next President. Anyone saying they support Obama but won’t vote for him if Clinton is his running mate, doesn’t really support Obama and are only dooming themselves if they go out and vote for McCain(worse than Bush). Anyone saying they support Clinton but wouldn’t vote for her as running mate for Obama also is not a real supporter. It’s not just about supporting your person only for the top position. You must also think of the party. I am a democrat and I want us to win the Presidency if clinton is on that ticket. People flapping their lips about its time for a change are simply falling into what has been done by politicians for ever. they always say what you want to hear to get in to office. You also don’t realize that as President you can’t change a thing by yourself. Obama can talk change all he wants the fact is he is still just another politician, less experienced than the other choices, but still a politician. I could never go out and vote for McCain but I also will not support Obama without Clinton on the ticket. I would simply not vote if Clinton is not on the ticket.

As a strong supporter of Senator Clinton, I would not support an Obama/Clinton ticket. I would encourage Clinton to stay low and let Obama do his thing. True supporters of Clinton will not support an Obama ticket in the fall. I will be voting for Senator McCaine in Nov. should Clinton fail to obtain the nomination.

Obama has too many hidden skeletons to win the Presidency. Promising $200 million in Michigan is a way to buy votes. How will he deliver this amount of money?

why would obama choose hillary as his running mate when he has based his whole campaign on the idea that he can bring people together. as capable as she is, she’s also one of the most divisive figures in politics. the idea of her being on the ticket seems to contradict much of what he stands for. mccain is capable of bringing people together, at least to a degree. he (mccain) gains the high ground immediately on this issue, if hillary is chosen.

i think hillary clinton was the smarter candidate, pleasant, well versed, knows what she wants to do and has a plan for her ideas.

what’s in it for edwards i wonder. edwards couldnt get the necessary votes, had to drop out, couldnt win his own state last time around. what is obama’s game plan. does he want edwards as vp. probably wouldnt work out.

i am a hillary fan, but does it look not real for her, probably will vote for obama he wasnt my first choice at all. dont want not to vote, so i decided to go for him. not much left.

It was a good idea in the begining, but not I don’t think this a good idea Obama/Clinton. I feel that Clinton could trust Obama, but I don’t really believe Obama could really trust Clinton. He would always have to deal with ex Pres Bill, trying up stage him. Sen Clinton has fought a good fight, but having them on the same ticket is not a good idea. If Clinton supporters are true demo’s they will support Obama whether she’s on the ticket or not.

How well-timed that John Edwards of the $400 haircuts, begging relief for the poor, throws his hat into the ring with Senator Obama. Looks like they both play in the same mud. Not that votes seem to matter (check out Florida and Michigan), but it looks like I just may have to hold my nose and cast mine for McCain! My apologies, Hilary, because I certainly would have backed you.

The whole idea of a dream ticket is the same old politics which Obama is trying to avoid. History has shown us the result of dream tickets. Let’s not fool ourselves. It will happen again. Obama would be dumb to accept any deal like this, but, its his life.

Obama should consider Clinton as a VP. He needs to take his ego out of the equation and make the decision which will enable the Democrats to win in November. He can’t win the presidency without the Clinton supporters - he must reach out to them. If he does not, McCain will win.

I really don’t tink obama should use clinton as his vp , these is too much bad blood between them . Hillary ran a dirty campaign against him and that is why her pride will not allow her to accept the vp spot ; and beside it would be for the best , cause then he don’t have bill in his ears trying to tell him what to do . he want change and that mean starting a new page . no bush or clinton, we need a new pair of eyes to bring back this country back to what it use to be .

I believe it will never happen as the dream ticket so much rumor about. I belieer obama will beat McCain in november. I would ask youthis question so Bill can aask abama, if he is elected president of the Us will he favor he black population more thasn the others?
