Hillary Supporters Scream ‘Sexism!’ What do you think?

Border

Should Democrats vote for the “bro” (short for ‘brother’) or should they vote for the “ho” (short for a word I’d rather not write on the FNC website)? Think I’m being offensive? Take a look at these nearly 30 unofficial pro-Obama campaign t-shirts.

Hillary Clinton supporters say this kind of product is proof: the first female to run for President of the United States has been diminished by sexism, which has been pervasive in the media, on the campaign trail and embodied in products sitting on store shelves, like the Hillary nutcracker.

Geraldine Ferraro, one of Clinton’s biggest supporters, takes it one step further. She says that Barack Obama himself is “terribly sexist.”

So what is she referring to? It all seemed to start with a song. On the night of the Iowa caucuses, Obama’s campaign played a rap song by Jay Z at the victory party. The title was “99 Problems.” But playing a song wasn’t the problem—the lyrics were: “I got 99 problems, but a bitch ain’t one.” Then during a debate he quipped that he thought Clinton was “likable enough.”

Clinton backers saw this as condescending.

Clinton supporters also say she’s been the victim of a relentless campaign to show her looking and sounding silly with unflattering photos and audio tapes of her laugh, otherwise known as her “cackle.” They say Obama doesn’t get the same treatment-instead he gets praise.

Hillary told the Washington Post: “The manifestation of some of the sexism that has gone on in this campaign is somehow more respectable, or at least more accepted, and . . . there should be equal rejection of the sexism and the racism when it raises its ugly head. It does seem as though the press at least is not as bothered by the incredible vitriol that has been engendered by the comments by people who are nothing but misogynists.”

Hillary backers, in part, blame the media and they are protesting NBC studios and stations in five states.

They point to a comment by NBC’s Chris Matthews who said Hillary wouldn’t have her job today if her husband hadn’t fooled around. He eventually apologized.

Clinton discussed the overall issue with The New York Times. She said, “It’s been deeply offensive to millions of women. I believe this campaign has been a groundbreaker in a lot of ways. But it certainly has been challenging given some of the attitudes in the press, and I regret that, because I think it’s been really not worthy of the seriousness of the campaign and the historical nature of the two candidacies we have here.”

Today Ferraro told Fox News’ Shep Smith today, “these all seem like little things. Add them all together and they spell sexism.”

Perhaps I’d really buy into the whole sexism bid, had I not followed the campaign. Was it not Mrs. Clinton that consistenlty refered to the hard-working Americans, white Americans or something of that notion? Was it not someone affiliated with her that claimed obama wouldn’t have been so succesful had he been white?

The whole sexism, racisms, bushism …. pick a term of choice was used for every camp equally, but amazingly I only here one person complain about it. So is this going to teach us that is ok to discriminate against anything BUT gender?

I don’t live in the US but I am deeply shocked by the sexism in your country. Hillary is clearly being put down.

No Bama in this great nation. Only Qualified persns can apply for this job. Racism & sexism can not be tollerated. Also the white house does not have presidential on the job traing. Responsabilities start the first day in office and not at the end of the 4 Year term.

Sexism, Racism You name it. It’s here to stay in this presdential race. We were well on our way to equal rights in this great nation and then came mr. nobody. The rev. Wrights’ pupit. Hating whitey & daming Anerica. These Obamian supporters are really brainwashed. They are insrtucted by the media to back this inexperienced clown. You better start thinking about what is good for thic country before we become a doomed nation. Obama is not the one to fix the mess we are in. think hard. It’s very easy to see what is happening. All the votes must be counted. it’s government for the people & by the people, not government by a few hand picked deligates. Wise up America.

I remember being a big Clinton fan back in the 90s. People used to ask me how could I like them considering their lack of integrity etc. I thought these people were overexaggerated. I think to myself often now and say”Oh this is what these people were talking about”. Hillary has really disappointed me and has set the feminist movement back a few years. I am sure there has been some sexism but to point the finger to a man who has been a gentleman is just low. Hillary isnt losing because of Barack or his movement. She was assumed the winner early on. She lost the Primary because of her inability to take the high road when available. She reminded people why her nagatives were soooo high. This woman is truly all what’s wrong with politics. She has lead an emotional following to the depths of no return. She has destroyed her chances to ever be President even in the future. I will vote for her should she be the nominee but people i talk to are not going to vote for her. I never thought I’d see the day when the Clintons were whining.
